great 10/20 HK FLO8 game today! Except today unfortunately we had few poor dealers. On one occasion one angling POS and an inattentive dealer cost me a $400+pot where I would have made a nut nut on the river, but instead ended up getting dick. Oh well.....

Also, we had two instances where this floor guy named Victor, made a poor ruling. The situation was the same both times, but I was directly involved in only one.

Here is the situation: I am on the button, I look down and see 5 cards. I immediately announce to the table and to the dealer that I have 5 cards. However, apparently UTG has called the $10 bb. The floor is called and of course Victor tells me that my hand is dead, but since the UTG has already called the bb, the game continues. In other words, I pay for my blinds, get my button, the dealer makes a blatant mistake and the floor comes over and tells me **** you sir, you don't get a hand on the button. As I said earlier we had the same exact situation twice and he made the same ruling each time.

But w/e the 10/20 HK FLO8 was such a great game that I really hope we can get this thing going more often. It's just so much better and faster to play w/ mostly red and green chips.

This is one of the funniest things I have seen from a random in a long time.

I was sitting in seat 9. Couldn't catch anything but it was a great game. Tell them about the guy that was on the 1/2 kill button and started to muck his hand before realizing he had already put up the $15. Ends up rivering a Royal Flush.

Interesting, but I think only one of the regular 2+2 posters is an Isle dealer

I may be mistaken, but I think you were already gone by then. We had this one pot, where it was capped 1/2 kill 8-way pre-flop pot ($460), capped again on the flop. The final pot was chopped b/w a 7753 and TTQ9 IIRC . Good times....

No shot at getting one started tonight around 8.30p? I might break away from NL for it.

Also, anyone in the house tonight?

Which 2/5 game is normally deeper between the isle and HR? I know that when I was here last summer so many people at both games were buying in for the min even after the laws changed and there isnt a ton of play vs a 40bb stack.

hmm, I was planning to take a day off from live, and just play online today... Plus from my limited experience I think it would be tough to get it going this late.

On another note, does anyone think we would ever have a chance at starting a 5/10 full kill O8 game at the Isle?

I am just trying to brainstorm how to do away w/ the whites and yellows, and play mostly w/ the reds. Plus it seems that not many are either willing to play or can afford the 10/20 HK O8 game...

edit: the problem w/ a 6/12 game is that even if we do get it going, it's going to be slower and a pain in the ass, b/c w/ a 1/2 kill it becomes 9/18 and that means we have to count yellows and whites, and dealers will have to make a lot more change...

Man, one of the reasons why I didn't play at the Hard Rock was because of that $2 jackpot drop. Now you guys have stooped to it. Guess I will be forced to tip less to compensate for ridiculous rake.

I think I'm going to make a trip to the isle this weekend. What's been running for PLO and $2-5nl and higher?

How about a re-entry instead of rebuys?

On a different note, do you have the FSPC schedule posted anywhere and a better sheet of the satellites for this than your standard June calendar? I am a little confused by the satellites listed on the website calendar.

Thinking about spending some time down at the isle during the upcoming tourney series. Should I expect 5/10 with 80bb+ average stacks to run on a regular basis? Not as concerned with game quality as I am average stack size and games running close to 80% of the time after 2pm.

Thanks for any help.

FSPC is on the wepage with blind structures for all events. Pompanopark.com. Later today you should see an updated and current version of the satellites up to July 1

is 2/5 similar? is this one of the deeper games out of HR, Gulf stream and Isle? I got scared away last summer by the majority of tables having 40bb stacks.

80 bb stacks at 5/10 is only 60% larger than the min buyin for the game and I don't know that I've ever seen this not to be the case past like 4pm. The room almost always closes with a 5/10 running even on the slowest nights of the week and you can expect a game always past 2pm. 2/5 will open shallower but a lot of the people that min buy in the game plan on going thru several bullets before leaving. This game is very solid starting mid-afternoon also.
