Therefore, there would be a bad beat for the limit players and 1 for the NL players. Most of the bad beats that are hit happen on the limit tables because on the limit tables it does not cost the players that much to see a flop with, for example; 23suited. As opposed to a no limit table where it is not cheap to see a flop with 23suited when someone raises to $60 preflop. Why would I as a NL player want to have the same reward for much higher risk compared to a limit player that has the same reward for lesser risk? Please think about this unfairness or have the NL tables decide if they want to contribute to the bad beat. Also, how about raising the mini bad beat to 20 percent? Thank you for your time.

One other thing I forgot to mention, would it be possible to add an 11th chair to a table (I know it would be a little tight but I think some of the players at the table might be more accomadating than you think) when it gets really late (4am-7am) and no players coming in or leaving? I think it would help losing players to other casino venues like the hardrock. As I have played every weekend since July 1st and there are always players left out when tables break up.

Ibrasci,

While I doubt we will change the mini bad beat to 20%, we are considering separating the limit and NL bad beats. It's not as easily done as one might think but we are looking into it.

as for 11 handed on graveyard when games are being condensed, that is something we can and should be doing.

Thanks

two quick questions re: 1/2NL at Isle
1) do you allow 'buying the button' if you miss your BB, where you pay the big+small from the SB position the next hand allowing you to be dealt in without messing up the blinds? (PBKC does not, for no good reason)

2) do you rake if no flop is dealt? (PBKC does, and it infuriates me)

Aside from those, I already see how the Isle gives free bottled water (PBKC does not), comps and free valet. It's 10 minutes longer drive for me to the Isle from Boynton but it looks like I may start playing there this weekend and give up PBKC for good, I've grown to hate so many things about that place.

Easy decision then.. I've been aching for some PLO action too, which PBKC very rarely has gotten going.

+1 to this question, that would be a pretty cool feature for The Isle to have.

Played at Isle tonight first time... liked it, but didn't like that I was carded 7 (!!) times over the night. Little rediculous, I'm 26 and don't look that young.

Does the Isle get anything higher than 5/10nl going? I heard there was a 10/25 PLO while the tourney was going on, does anything higher than 5/10 run regularly?

We have both available to the guests. Boxes can be rented for a refundable $100 at the poker cage. Money can be put in the cage and receipted at the main cage.

Thanks

We get a 10/25 NL a couple times a week and there has been talk of moving the 10/25 PLO over to the Isle. I am still waiting to hear from the players.

Thanks

You should be able to check Ante Up magazine or the Sun Sentinel for final results

Wezvidz,

We are now buying the button.

PLO/NLH has been going on weekends. 10-25 blinds.

Take care,

Noah

Game report, please.

I'd like to know what limit Hold'em games you have going tonight.

Probably same as pretty much every night:

1 or 2 tables of 1/2
1 table or an interest list for 2/4
An interest list for 4/8 and 5/10 with two or three names on each

I wish I could say we are getting bigger limit games but I can't. The 4-8 has been running every day and gets started around noon.

Thanks

Is that 10/25nl game you were talking about mainly @ night or during the day?

Also, do you guys accept the $1k/$5k chips from HR?

Went to The Isle on Friday night. Played 1/2 NL. Happy to report there are PLENTY of fish still out there playing, and they have lots of money. I didn't get much of it on this trip, but there are still plenty of goons, seniors and noobs with too much time and too much money.

Met Lord Strife. I swear the guy has four arms because he deals so fast. Should be his undertitle. If you live in SoFla and want to see how dealers should be, look for the spike-haired guy with glasses and ridiculously fast hands. Mike, you've got a keeper there.

Glad to see the room bursting at the seams. It was louder than I could remember it -- lots of dealer trays needing fills, which is always a good sign.
