Turned out to be a pretty decent game. Often 5+ to the flop with a good number of raised pots. Players were pretty straightforward for the most part. Average pot was in the $75 range with quite a few over $100 as most players would peel just about anything on the flop and there was some aggression (but vary rarely a 3 bet)

Stayed full until I left at 930 except for a period around dinner.

Sadly for me I pretty much received total garbage or premium hands which of course had no shot (kk taken down by 84s and qq by 32o).

Now that the Mrs is moving to town ( I started a job here a few weeks ago) my opportunities will be limited but hopefully this becomes a reliably regular game when u do make it out.

For comparison it was much better then the 3-4 times I played 4/8 at parx.

Sunday night ($75) always gets 100+ entries
Friday 2pm ($225) typically has an overlay due to the guarantee

Of course, weekday 11.30am tournaments have relatively low turnouts for a very obvious reason. Except for a Friday 2pm, which gets some decent players, the rest of the tournaments are extremely soft.

Also, I was playing the freeroll yesterday and the floor was able to run 2 separate clocks for the freeroll and for the 11.30am tournament. So, it seems like they finally figured out how to separate the screens.
150+ every time? I usually play @ SB in AC and see anywhere from about 50 to 80 or so.

I guess no one wants to drive to AC

Looking at my Bravo I'm seeing 2 10-25nl games with 10 on the list, so yes what you saw is possible.

Was here last night playing and we tried to start a 5/10 O8 full kill list and they would not allow it. They said that the 5/10 O8 game interferes with their 5/10 LHE game and that it sometimes breaks it up. Floor also told me that they "make more money with the 5/10 LHE game because it generates more hands per hour". So after arguing with them they finally allowed myself and friend to start a 6/12 O8 full kill list.

While waiting we added our name to the 7.50/15 LHE list which was called but played short for and broke in less than an hour. Then they called the 5/10 LHE game and we played which then also played 6 handed after 1.5 hours. Three of us at table wanted the O8 game and floor guy said adamantly he will not start it because it will break up the current 5/10 LHE game. My friend and I got up, cashed in our chips and told floor we were going to Sands where we knew we could play O8, another reg got up from there and was complaining too. This left the 5/10 LHE game 3 handed, LOL.

As we were walking by podium with cash in hand after cashing out, the floor told us to wait and they said they would open the O8 but only 3/6 or 7.5/15. My friend and I told him we would never play 3/6 and asked if they could do the 7.5/15 full kill. He said no and then we asked if he could call what was posted the 6/12 full kill that had 9 names on it, he said no and that it should of never been started at that stake and whoever put it up should not of done so. At this point all of us were angry and they finally just started the 7.5/15 no kill.

Sorry for such lengthy story but did not want to fall short on what happened. The regs told us the 5/10 O8 game has been running forever there and floor just recently said they would not spread it because they make more rake off the 5/10 LHE game which is threatened when the regular O8 game was called. Shame on you Harrah's for letting rake be your driving cause and not pleasing your long term regular players. You have a fun good group of regular players in that game and you are angering all of them by your recent decision to just improve your bottom line by a few more hands per dealer down. I personally will not be back and will stick to the Sands O8 game where I know it will be called and not screwed with.

Sundays bounty tourney should be a good turnout, at least 100 if not much more I'd expect...I know the floors have been promoting that tournament as a good one. The structures are good as usual too for tomorrow...I'm here today and there are only about 40 players right now for the $550. Unfortunate for Harrahs Philly, Borgata is running another tournament on top of them today.

2/5 Deepstack at Chester/Philly: Min buyin $400, Max $2500.

According to Bravo: Monday 6pm 5/10 NLH/PLO Mix. Don't actually know if this runs.

Too bad about the room not caring enough to cater to players. I'd check out mixed limit games there.

I took the drive from Borgata to play this game. Dont waste your time. In my 9 hour session, I saw some familiar faces who are banned from AC casinos. Two of them checked down set over set (obv collusion), saw multiple squeeze plays, and I saw multiple transactions of cash transferred from player to player on the rail (fishy). I also suggest if you play there bring a set of cotton balls to plug your ears bc some fohawk wouldnt STFU. I dont mind chatter and table talk but it was literally every hand. It's hard to not keep my action at the B and continue my comped Thursdays-Sundays.

Pretty sure I know who this is and I'd like to respond before your post gets deleted as it should be for mentioning specific players. To start, I will admit the must move game was a little bit nitty, but still manageable. Secondly, the floor and staff here were more accommodating than any poker room in the country that I've played at in the last two years. They clearly care about keeping this game here. Third, don't ever, EVER call out specific players who are driving action and taking time to set up big games on a Wednesday night, action is sparse enough as it is around here. If you didn't like the game (and if this is who I think it is, I recall you getting up and leaving after being tilted) then that's a matter of opinion but to spatter out nonsense like this is going too far.

As far as checking down set over set, in the high stakes community it's an unfortunate truth that some players are good enough friends they will soft play each other heads up. Most of the time these are recreational guys who give action to everyone else at the table so you overlook it unless it gets out of hand. I think you're being paranoid regarding squeeze plays, because I am quick to notice things like that which is why I won't play in the Sands game anymore. I noticed nothing of the sort here. And as far as cash and chips transactions at the table, this is extremely common among high stakes players, maybe something you are not familiar with?

Sick of hold'em

PLO or $7.50-$15 O8 tonight. I'll be there 9:30ish. Let's get one going. A friend will be there that will play either. We'll start short to get the game going.

The floor will not start the O8 game. It's been a waste of my time. I will not drive down for a 3rd time. Two strikes and Harrahs Chester is out. Sorry, would love to play. Last time there, we had 12 on the list & 5 waiting on the rail, not playing the 5-10 holdem, the game they were trying to protect from breaking. This should be a Friday-Sunday game. The floor is poor. "Ain't nobody got time for that."
