Harrahs is really your only option. It's the only poker room in downtown NOLA and the only one that spreads decent NL games. GL

There was a good 5/10/25 PLO game going for a while last night. You'll find some good nl action. PLO is hit or miss.

Ive said it before, the 2/5nl truly plays bigger then most 5/10nl games. Or at least as big if the lineup isnt too crazy. Best game ever

2/5 pretty reggy there or are there many recreational players? coming down for a weekend with a friend been debating weather or not to hop in a game or 2 while im down there...

Cash does not play. Straddle is allowed from any position and the button gets preference

It's hit or miss. Just depends on the night and crowd. It'll be fairly busy on the weekend.

Dumb question: the half and half game is Holdem and omaha or stud and omaha ?

Min buy ins for 1/3 and 2/5?

Gonna be in town this weekend if any dog wants to meet up. Would love to get plo going. Myself and my buddy will try and get it started

Weekends sometimes see a 2/5 or 2/5/10 either nlhe/plo or sometimes just plo. Sometimes there's a 5/10 or 5/10/25. The everyday is a 4/8/12 limit holdem/omaha. There's also a 15/30 omaha high game on Friday nights.

Haven't seen any and don't really expect to. Haven't seen any lists or indication that they are offered either. Someone else can chime in if they've heard something different about SNGs, but knowing how the room operates I don't expect any to run until the tournament series has actually started in the ballroom (and even then I can't say one way or the other if they'll run them)

I played in a 2/5 game a few weeks ago with a button straddle practically every round.

Probably the biggest game I have ever played in.

Are there gonna be a lot of cash games on account of the wsop?

It gets packed during the circuit. There will usually be more 2/5 running than normal (probably 3-4 games), but the wait lists have gotten deep in the past. I've seen it 50+ for 1/3, can't remember what the 2/5 was up to.
