I guess I'll be the as*hole who calls them out on it since no1 else ever has a clue of what's going on. Or maybe they do and they don't care idk. Someone give me some updates on the 2-5 game. I saw a few guys playing it this afternoon that shouldn't even be playing 1-2nl. Game has to be good.

And 10-25 PLO? holy sh*t didn't know people degened that hard here. The 3-4 young 20' something's must be killing it.
I watched him 3 bet, six times in a row. Why would I open/fold? That just seems like I'm giving him money. I paid attention. The guy was definitely not angle shooting. He never looked at his cards. I'm not sure why I should have folded 78ss against a random hand. I was comfortable enough with that hand and it plays decent post flop, so why not? But the cash games down there play ridiculously big. It's worth making the trip down just to play those. I know I will be there in May of 2015 for the WSOPC.

just means bigger pots when you get those eight-way limps to the flop...

It's a pretty low rate, but it may also take a while to show up on your card. I'm really not sure. You can call and ask probably, but 4-5 hours is prob $1.25 or something.

The perks of having a monopoly on the Nola casino market.

Free parking is nice though

Pretty sure this makes up for the lack of comps. Parking is a bitch

I'm pretty sure you get much better comps and offers at slots/table games (I honestly wouldn't know), and they also get free parking. So it's still not fair tbh.

Yea but we are poker players. We expect to go win at casino. Pit n slot players are straight gambling. Obv they get more comps.

Does 10-25 run here ever? Do bigger games run around Mardis gras times\?

10/25 is pretty hit or miss. Seems to pop up randomly. There's definitely more action when events come into town, but the action is normally always good. The WSOP circuit event in May is probably your best bet for consistent bigger games.

Just came across the Bayou Poker Challenge schedule. Didn't even know they were doing it this year until I stumbled across it on their website..I was at Harrah's the other night and don't recall seeing any advertisements for the BPC.

How was last years turnout?

The turnout for the guarantees were good, but I don't see any events guaranteed here, even though the guarantees were surpassed last year. I'm not sure how the turnout was for the midweek events. The turnout may be decent. There's a big sign just outside the poker room, but other than that, the advertisement sucks. They really need an online presence on the forums.

Very glad they're doing a series outside of the May wsopc. Was excited to see the sign in the room over the weekend. There are also some advertisements around the casino for the WSOP satellites that are happening the first weekend of the series. There's one outside the Poydras entrance, and there's a banner at the bottom of the escalator when you enter the tunnel from the parking garage. Doubt there are huge turnouts, but I'm glad they're gonna offer some tourneys outside of the weekly $130s. Should be fun

Hey guys, I'm coming down to New Orleans tomorrow for 9 days to get a break from the frozen Canadian wasteland I live in. Also looking to play a bunch in new casinos in the area, including driving out to Lake Charles, Biloxi, Baton Rouge, etc.

If any regs in the area wanna come say hi or grab a drink, drop me a PM!
