PLO has been running more often. I'd play in a 2/5 game tonight or PLO, but I want the game to happen with the players that are there, not bring in a lot of regs from 2p2.

I'm in route , by my lonesome..
Many would say I'm as fishy as anyone up there, cus I'm not a nit! And plo is all luck anyway right?

Debating on the tourneys tonight. Usually skip cus reg line and for w/e reason I always think cash game = more money. Anyone know wwhat time 7pm tourney usually finishes? Could be fun I guess

Gonna come on a weekend this time to look for some babes as well as the pokerz.

Since there is no vacancy, can someone recommend an affordable option in addition to the Microtel? Just want something clean, safe and fair value for a night or two beginning Friday.

P.S. Will give trip report on babes

There are quite a few cheap ($45) motels on 441 south, about five minutes from the casino. Don't know their names.

Seriously, was there any PLO running? I hear it has started making a regular weekend appearance. Any 2/5 NL running? Be great to hear from anyone that was there last night.

There was a PLO game last night. Someone from our table went over and checked their PLO pot average and reported back that it was about $135 when he checked. I don't know how long it lasted. I didn't see any 2/5. There was a good crowd of poker folks.

There was PLO running saturday and briefly Friday night as well.

Does anyone know how many rewards points and tier score points you get per hand? How do you check your 70c/hr poker comp balance?

I thought there was a 2-5 game running at some point.

I don't know how many points you get an hour. I'm sure someone can advise on that. To check how many points you have, just insert your card into to a slot machine and wait. Eventually the display will tell you how many RCs you have. I think it does the Tier points as well.

Reward Credits (can be used to buy food, etc.) are given in poker at a rate of $0.70 for every 40 hands played. For example, if you see you have 2300 RC's, then you have $23.00, just enough for the food buffet.

Tier Points (Player reward level, gold, platinum-4000 points, diamond-11,000 points, 7-star - 100,000 points) is awarded at a rate of 28 tier points for every 40 hands played.

As tennesseered said, u can stick your card into any slot machine and it will give you both numbers. You can also log into http://www.totalrewards.com and enter your card number and pin number and it will show your point status online.

I've noticed the web site may take a day or two to update the point totals in your account after playing on the weekend. Points earned from poker don't get entered into your account until the following day. If you're ever in the poker room at around 7 a.m. you can see the floor person sitting at the computer typing in all the comp data from the previous day for all players the previous day, it's a totally manual system. The day I saw them entering the data they had about 6 pages of player data to enter into the total rewards system. I was surprised it wasn't an automated point system like the slots and pits use.

I hope this decision does not affect the General Assembly decision to green light live dealers.

I'd be very surprised if it does impact it. While the GA will hem and haw over it, the state gains too much for them to turn it down.

Why would her not seeking reelection have any effect on live dealers? She still has a chance to get more money for the school system by getting it passed. The GA was either already for it, or against; this won't change anything.

My question would be is the action even worth my coming there on those days. I'd be coming from Greensboro, NC and I play no table games, only poker.

Also curious if anyone on here comes from my direction as I cannot drive at the moment. Or are there any bus programs that might work? I tried looking at greyhound but they apparently don't come directly into Cherokee. Any help would be appreciated.

I've played for a living online and live for the past seven years but I'm down to around a $5000 roll due to taking time off and living expenses. Just curious if an above average player can sustain a living there in its current form. I know weekends are juicier so Id definitely be up for chopping expenses/room for weekends as well. Id preferably like to stay a week at a time.

Appreciate any and all responses.
looks like this site offers shuttles: http://www.daytripsandtours.com/#nvcustom-tab

Tue/Thurs are the best weekdays to play because of the tournaments. The weekends are always going to be substantially better to play though. It sounds like online poker might be a better option for you anyway though. You know there are still sites open to US players...

PLO ran Fri and Sat evenings. Interesting dynamic when "regs" buy in for 50 BB. Worst players I ever seen. Good action overall though.

I played PLO once up there long ago. Worst PLO players that I've ever played against.
