And here's a bad cell phone pic of the full schedule they have available in the poker room (it shows all the smaller non-ring events too): https://imgur.com/a/8Wk6bEs

Basically the same schedule they ran in August. Only 2 non full-ring NLHE events (one 6max NLHE and one full-ring PLO) and they always schedule them both on the same day, sigh. The all-in or fold might be new, I don't remember seeing or hearing about that last time.

Been playing in the room since it opened on digital tables and I can’t remember ever hearing of a poker rate.

Last update I got (from a fairly high up guy about 4-5 months ago) is that they are looking to maximize the floor space to take in as much money as they can for the first several years. Cherokee took over 20yrs to get a poker room, think we’d be lucky to get one before 2030.

We'll be there Dec. 2 - 4 (arriving Dec. 1, leaving Dec. 5). Playing in the Seniors for sure. Maybe No. 13 or 14, too. I wish they had PLO that weekend. Only one PLO and it's on the Monday after Thanksgiving

Seems to me that Thanksgiving is a terrible time to have tournaments somewhere like Cherokee, but I guess it works for them.

I am heading there for the Seniors event # 15 (been eyeing WSOP here or WPT for couple months now

and same maybe # 13

WPT in Seminole Hollywood going at same time so figured field should be softer here

may have to rethink that if Javanewt is playing

Any word if the upcoming Circuit stop will be held in the Event Center or the Cherokee Tower again?

I know most people prefer the Event Center since its right above the cash games and other gambling, but I am partial to the Cherokee Tower since the parking garage is so close and I can easily go smoke in my car during breaks, and I probably wont play cash games.

Just called the poker room, it's in the new area / convention center, not the event center.

I did see a facebook ad from cherokee that WSOP22 promo code would get you a poker room rate. I booked my room for 2 nights though and they had another promo for STAY2 that got the room down to $118 / night. I didn't see a way to try the wsop22 promo code to check the rate.

I got four nights for the February circuit event for $385 including taxes and resort fees. I booked it on Caesar’s.com.

Were you able to get weekends at that rate? I may be late trying it, but it just shows me “WSOP22 is not a valid online code.”

Don't know where you are but they are building a Caesars in Danville, VA that's opening in 2024. They'll have a poker room at opening for sure I've heard. I'm psyched to have a casino 82 miles away(from Raleigh).

My plans changed and no longer going this weekend. Really bummed. Good luck to those of you who make it.

A month away and I the can’t find a schedule for the February WSOP anywhere online. Has anyone been to the poker room lately and possibly seen a copy? Yes, I know it will be basically the same as before, but I have heard rumors of a shootout event this time.

I was thinking the same thing today. I called the room and they said it would be sometime this week.

Its linked to the Horseshoe Vegas stop the week before. I was both happy to see HORSE event and unhappy to see the huge 1st weekend multiflight missing. Then I saw it was for Horseshoe in Vegas

I'm looking forward to the 1st weekend $500,000 guarantee. Should be a huge turnout!

I looked at the calendar Harrah's Cherokee (Cherokee, NC) and it looks like there are 4 different double weeks the WSOP tour stops by: February, May, August, and late November to early December.

My question is if the cash games are equally good for every stop? I went to the cash games one weekend in February and they had a ton of games. I am wondering if it's like that the other stops too?
