I was there last week wed-sat and there was at least 1-2 tbls of 1/2 running at all times. Got busier as you get closer to weekend.

I have seen people fishing the streams and catching quite a few fish, however, I believe that a license/permit is required. I believe there was a link in this thread but it could have been another one.

Someone mentioned at the tables that cherokee had changed the RC/Tier points rates on the poker pro tables from what they had been previously (70RC, 28T/40 hands) to match the live tables. Can anyone confirm what the current rates are?

need an update on PLO.......When is there good plo game going.....is there a particular day.....has there been any live dealer PLO since the tournament? or just pro pro......

If you want PLO action, don't expect much in Cherokee. For the nightly plo tournament last week, I believe there was only like 14 entries.

1/2 PLO seems to run reliably on Saturday. Poker pro e-tables only.

I heard that as well but no specific dates...only mentioned that same WSOP crew may come back in December. Supposedly one of Cherokee floor staff mentioned it.

WSOPC will be Harrahs Rincon which isn't a very large stop on the tour so could be correct.

I'm coming up this weekend to play the live games and maybe try the poker pro machines PLO game. I came up during the circuit event and was disappointed with the place. Interested to see if anything has changed.

I thought the circuit event was great! Just don't expect Vegas when you get here, not even Biloxi. This place is good to get your temporary fix. For all the serious types, I recommend you keep going to Vegas or Mississippi. But Cherokee is a decent place. I only go because it is convenient for me. I do go to Vegas a few times a year and Cherokee pales in comparison, but it is close enough that I will visit on a regular.

I understand the issues surrounding the circuit event given the unexpected large turnout, so I can't really gripe about that. Other than that I was disappointed in the quality of the dealers, lack of live games and how small the poker room was.

I'm interested to see how things are a month later.
