I was thinking about coming up for one of the WSOP tournaments later this month but Im having trouble finding much info about them anybody seen anything on them yet
I was also wondering what was minimum bet on the craps tables there was hoping for under $25

Think $10 is the min (maybe not on the weekend). There are also a couple electronic craps machines to play lower on.

The Cherokee schedule might have some errors. On the wsopC site it shows a 10 am start for the main event. On that schedule posted above it shows 11 AM start. The 1100 is also kind of weird. It has the 1100 starting at 3pm and ending in 1 day. Usually they have the 1100 at 11 am and then a turbo starting in the afternoon. So they might have mixed those two events up.

Article mentioned they would be the same as 2019/2020

No vaccine requirement at the moment. At least not at Cherokee

Seems like 5/5 plo runs at least on the weekend (did again this Friday and Saturday night).
March should be ok, but going to be a little slower than normal being sandwiched between late February circuit event and early April circuit event.

Is the Feb WSOPC happening? I see on the Cherokee website that they are selling tickets to a concert in the Cherokee event center on Friday Feb 25th. Do they no longer have the WSOPC event in the event center?

While we still do not know if Catawba Two Kings Casino will have poker or not, its looks like another new casino in Danville, VA will. It will be an hour closer to Charlotte.

No reason for people from Atlanta to drive to Cherokee to play and pay the ridiculous rake now that we have room in the area to play poker.
We have the Poker Bar and Grill in Duluth and Little Kings and Queens in Buford.

What makes a game illegal is the rake. So instead of a rake, you rent your seat. I believe that it's following the model in Texas.

Heading to Cherokee for the WSOP (Feb. 18 - 23). Noob question (I've never played in a "big" tournament), can you buy in a day or two in advance? Any advice for buying into tournaments at WSOP/Cherokee -- when to show up, what to have prepared?

Plan to play the seniors on Sunday and the PLO on Monday (and hopefully Tuesday).

Thanks for any input.
