New bad beat jackpot starting Oct 1st.
Was there today and it sounds like we'll have $7+$1 at $1/2!

A couple of the dealers said that the bad beat is starting as losing with quad Kings or better. It will go down over time as the pot grows.

Does the 1/2 game play big enough to fade an $8 rake? Whew.

Cherokee now has the highest rake in the country.

They were already extremely high at $7 (with no jackpot) but now at $8 with a little piss ant size Bad Beat is just over the top GREED.

I spent a week there back in August when the WSOPC was in Cherokee, and I enjoyed playing there, but it’s nothing special or luxurious.

I had reservations for the first week of December when WSOPC is due back, but I just canceled my reservations.

I’m not paying any poker room $8/hand for rake, and I can promise you that many others feel the same way. And cherokee relies on outsiders to support their poker room. There’s not enough locals to do it. Why travel to Cherokee to pay the highest rake in the country?

After dealer tips, that’s a lot of cash being eaten off the table per hour. Hopefully the rooms suffers a decrease in players and financial losses start.

Yes it is but your protest won’t matter. In general the tourist don’t come to go to the casino, they come for the tourist stuff in the area and then go to the casino while there. By far the vast majority will not know of the rape, I menan rake till there and won’t end there trip just because of it. Most won’t even decide to not return because of the rake.

Has anyone seen the new Aruze craps table with LED graphics? Exactly how are the dice rolled and are they normal dice? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

No, never seen it.

They did not have 5 card Big O during series back in August.

But they DO now have $8 Big Rake for you to play, I mean pay.

$7 + $1 now off the top of every hand plus a minimum $1 dealer tip.

They usually have Big O during the series though it runs sporadically. Never seen them spread 5 card high only. The 1/2 with an $8 rake $200 cap is pretty much unplayable. The live 1/2 has hurt the 2/5 as well. At least I can save a buck and play plo lol. If you play in the event center you won't even get comps for playing.

Is the sportsbook open yet? Any news on the poker room moving? My next trip is weekend before the series.

It was $7/half hour but went back to $7 per hand a while back. Earns same tier as NL games. But if playing in event center you won't get credit for it. Buy in is 200-1000 or match biggest stack. Plays really deep. Not uncommon for majoriry of the table to be 1000 BB's or more, with a few igger stacks. Even more so during the series. Most pots are straddled so 5/5/10 and you can straddle from the button in PLO, utg only in NL

The rake for poker/badbeat is astronomical but the games in Cherokee are as soft as you will find. I was there this past weekend and played Friday/sat night. Lots of limping, etc. My win rate at Cherokee is double the rate for Florida poker rooms

Bad beat is 4 Kings beaten and both players must use both hole cards . Must be 5 players dealt in and $10 in pot.

The book wasn't even started so I expect it won't be ready until late this year and most likely January. If you are going for wsop in Nov it won't be ready.

Word is the move to the new room won't happen until summer 2020

Yes, most are in event center, and all the bigger games 10/25+. There's 20 tables in the poker room, so at most 2-3 plo. Not sure what the tier credits are. I think its 34/hr ir something like that. Ends up being less than a dollar an hour in comps around .70/hr if I remember correctly.

Confirmed .70/hr vonps. Couldn't find tier credits but I'm 80% sure its 34/hr

Well, I see they're suspending promo's durung the series and not taking tge extra dollar

I called them mid Nov and was told an area will be set up to take bets prior to end of month.

Can anyone confirm or deny this has happened.

It wasn't as of the 26th. May be for the series. Signage up in the casino about the sportsbook, but that was it.
