Anthony,

Any plan for the poker room to be on the Bravo Live system?

Will it just be for 2/5 or for all games?

I tried out your poker room last night and I must say there is major room for improvement. The electronic tables are just part of the problem. The biggest problem is that the poker manager on duty cannot load the cards that buy into games. Every other poker room I have ever played in has a cage open at all times or a poker manager selling/buying chips. Making players go all the way down stairs and across the casino to the main cage to buy/redeem chips is ridiculous and I bet you lose a lot of players that way. That is one reason I will not go back, though there are a number of other obvious issues.

I agree 100% but this should be solved because I believe there will always be a cashier now with the live games going as well. And hopefully, some additional staff to support (not blaming the poor soul that is stuck working by himself with 150 people in the room).

I heard last night that the live dealers will start at 6 tonight.

It depends on time of day as to when cage in poker room is open. During busy periods it is usually open. If they stay busy due to live dealers (and since they will have to handle chips for the live dealer tables) then probably they will stay open longer in the poker room.

But what I do is to load up my card with my entire BR when I first arrive. That way it is easy to rebuy at the table, and I don't feel as nervous about walking around with a lot of cash in my wallet. I cash out right before I leave on last day. It's really not as bad as you think once you get used to the routine of stopping at the downstairs cashier before you arrive at poker room.

They are only going to start with just a few live dealer tables, so the plan is 2/5 and above. All the PokerPro tables will remain in the poker room (from what others have reported). But exact plans may change depending on supply/demand for live dealers, vs the number of dealers who available for work, vs the number of live dealer tables available. There will be plenty of additional live dealer cash games during the WSOP-C, but obviously those tables will not be permanent.

It will be interesting to see. The problems I have with the room don't have anything to do with the tables. Example: Saturday night we were running 55 hands per hour with a pot average of $104. That is hard to beat. The problem was that there was a problem with the line being to long for people to put cash on their card. They need to improve on that.

Also, would love to listen to music on the longer grinds.

We're using BRAVO, but you'll need to give us a little time on the bells and whistles (i.e. the phone app).

No. Right now it looks like Friday at 6:00 PM. Obviously things are a bit fluid, but that's what we're shooting for right now.

Price on daily wifi? Any weekly rates?

Any critical info for first timers at the poker room for the WSOP-C? I figured some of you vets have some good info. A few questions:

1. Load money on card ahead of time...got it.

2. Do you need a rewards card to play in the poker room and if not does it help if you are not a frequent traveler to the casino?

3. A few people have asked if there will be any satellites or Sng's to the smaller events and I think the answer has been no. Is that confirmed?

4. Someone mentioned there will be the normal $60 & $120 Sng's....will those always be on the electronic tables or will some be possibly with live dealers?

5. If you have a cooler in room can you bring said beverage into casino or no? Speaking hypothetically, of course.

6. Was there a definitive answer on headphones, phone or electronic devices at table for WSOP and/or regular poker room?

Thanks in advance

Yes you need a rewards card to play in poker room. (For electronic tables)

2. You need Total Rewards Card to play PokerPro tables (obviously). According to published rules for WSOP-C, you also need Total Rewards Card to play a WSOP-C event since Harrah's is a Caesars property.

5. The poker room has cooler with bottled water. I sometimes put a few bottles in my pocket (the are small bottles) when I go to the Food Court, but not a good idea to be seen taking them out of the poker room.

6. Regular poker room has always been "No" for any electronic devices when sitting at the tables, due to electronics inside PokerPro tables (and some management paranoia). But actually PokerPro games are too fast (50 hands per hour) for electronic devices. No problem if you step away from the table to take a phone call, etc. WSOP-C standard rules are that it is OK up until in the money, but likely will only be enforced for final tables (if like most other recent WSOP-C events).

I assume this will be televised live. What channel will it be on?

Thanks for the info!

Anyone know what the max buy in is for 2-5? Any chance 2-5 will be with live dealers/cards?

Current 1/2 NLHE buyin is $500 max, so take a guess on 2/5.

Yes there is a good chance that one of the live dealer tables will be 2/5 NLHE (based on previous statements from poker room personnel last time I was there). But no guarantees, since there will only be a few live dealer tables (prior to WSOP-C) and obviously depends on player demand.

I agree with this, they need to change that. Since I play mostly at night, the cashier is never open and I have to go downstairs to the cashier [Which, at times is hard as hell to find]. Of course, I just learned to load up money on the card ahead of time to remedy this issue but there are plenty of newbies who will be turned off by this.

I actually love the electronic tables BTW. No money loss on tipping dealers, faster cards, faster pace of play, and I've seen people play looser on them than regular tables.

There have been lots of TV ads in Atlanta and Charlotte for about the past 3 weeks. Also billboard ads.
