Took long enough, but we are finally here. The Hard Rock finally opens tomorrow.. Not much information on Bravo yet except the poker room has 6 tables and a BBJ. Anyone heading out for the opening this week?

Hope you are correct but looking at their website I only see the usual "poker" pit games Ultimate Poker, Miss Stud and so on. Often see those advertised as Poker elsewhere.

Yes they are open - saw the room is also on Poker Atlas so made the 3 hr drive yesterday. As advertised 6 tables, nice room. Casino opened Thursday and is having predictable startup issues. Everything was very slow - signed up 7th on list - had to point out to floor that there were 3 open seats on the three 1-3 tables going, Require you go to main cashier cage for first buyin - 8 in line and they close 1 of the 3 open windows. 2 of 3 dealers hadn't dealt poker before Thursday, Half the players didn't seem to know how to ante, check, fold or raise. Cashier recounted my $181 3 times - very carefully. When I left there were about 15 on the list. Did get a nice t shirt for signing up to rewards card while waiting for my seat. Anyway I would suggest you wait a month or so before going.

How bad is the rake and promo drop?

I was in the area and stopped by on Labor Day late afternoon to find two 1-3 tables running with Bravo showing ~ 15 people on that wait list and maybe 15 more on 2-5 and PLO. The room is so small!

Tables and chairs looked good but I was a little surprised the felt doesn't have the action line - that's not going to help educating confused newer players.

Also, my buddy was playing some video poker and got a Busch Light and paid $8 for it. Come on.

Betting lines are out of favor, for the good IMO.

Can make an either way as neither is perfect, but betting lines offer more chances to angle.
