Hey all,

Heading down tonight, saw last week or the week before they had a PLO8 list, not sure if the game went off but would like to play if anyone else will be there.

In lieu of plo8, does the 5/10 nlhe game get off much?

The only O8 that usually runs is O8 it better limit on Fridays, and 5/10NL,500/2000 buy-in, usually only runs Friday and Saturday. 2/5 runs basically everyday, 200/500 buy-in. There is a Reds game tonight too, but that may only be an issue after the game mainly. If you have at least a platinum card, valet is free. Dedicated cashier in the poker room too.

Oh, and high card for the $1500 Labor Day Deepstacks II at 2,5,9,am and pm. One table drawn.

so the labor day series says it adds 9 seats to the first few events but these come out of the prizepool if they reach the guarantee according to the fine print?

but the money still comes out of the promotional pool?

seems a bit shady if true

I just read the structure sheets, and I'm not seeing where you think the ME seats are coming out of the prizepool. As far as I know the seats are added with monies from the promo fund.

If I'm missing something please let me know.

I emailed the poker room manger a couple of days ago and told him what the structure sheet said about all gurarantees being inclusive of all added seats and promotional monies and what this meant . He just replied and said the seats are added just as they have been in the past.

I don't even know I'd they are authorized by the state to spread it, but I am 99% sure it has never ran or if it would run due to lack of interest.

As mentioned above I am not sure they are even allowed to run it and not sure if they would push for it unless some regulars really pushed for it. I believe they went through the trouble to get commission to allow them to run Big O a while back. It ran for a few weekends somewhat consistently, but then it stopped and I haven't seen it spread in probably close to a year if not longer, so not so sure they will go through the effort to get a new game allowed that they will have to go through the trouble of training everyone on just to have it run a few times.

Any guesses for how many people will play the $1500 this Friday and Saturday? My buddy called the room and they told him they expected around 250 on Friday and 350 on Saturday. I thought those numbers sounded high, but idk...
