How's the action as of lately? Haven't played there in a bit heading down for the day now....will be in a great hoodie and dark blue jeans/grey and white air max's if anyone wants to say hello

It's better on Fri/Sat night, IMO. You should be there for a couple drawings for a free $400 seat in the $50k tournament on Saturday. Decent chance during the weekdays to get one. Also, I think you described about 8 guys in the room with that description, ha.

I have played some 1/2 during week days and there isn't much action. Some tables seem nitty (ie when there are a bunch of old guys)

Is that what everyone is seeing?

That is what I have seen. During the week, a lot of familiar faces nitting it up. I have seen some improvement in evenings a tournament is going on and this week should be good with the seat drawings, but definetly Fri/Sat is best as balook said. By the way, does anyone have any thoughts or info on the 50K tourney? I am playing for the first time Saturday and wanted to know what to expect in general.

On the topic of the Cincinnati Horseshoe; the dealers here are nice, but I sometimes wonder if they are too nice - e.g. Players taking chips out of play - I have seen this happen several times at the Cincy Shoe. Most of the time another player has to speak up. Not just a white chip for a tip either; I am talking stack(s) of reds. Happened again last night. Guy with about $550 takes two $100+ stacks off table and gives them to his friend. Dealer saw it - says nothing. Another player and I immediately point it out - then the dealer reacts. Who knows if it all ended up back in play. From then on out I was uber-tilted until I left that table.

I hope they realize they have something special going on with PLO. Look on bravo they have 1 1-2 PLO table with 25 on the list, 12 on 5/5, 10 on 5/10. Just don't understan why they opt to open a new 3/6 game. People drive from hrs away because of the PLO action, 3/6 nits are locals and will be there all day every day regardless.

Nobody seems to know when the circuit promotions will start. Some say a month before the event (which would be next week) and some say the beginning of march.

One even said that they're still going to run a 1st Saturday of the month 50k guarantee tournament still in March. This would mean they're going to give away seats to the 50k for a week still.

Just saw it got cancelled too, hopefully the room starts running some good promotions for cash games. I think the promotional fund is near 350,000. Start giving back to the players!

I understand they lost the poker room manager recently, but the staff has a good amount of experience overall and I am not sure why this alone would have caused the stop to get cancelled. Maybe something else is up? I plan on heading down there tonight so if I hear anything solid I will post here.
