I'm surprised their garage is as small as it is.
They would let you valet if you or someone you were with was Diamond or Seven Stars. I believe the garage is so small to appease the city as they were concerned about losing parking revenue.

Does anyone have a list of hotels nearby? Looking to stay down there during the circuit and heard the hotels that were close were outrageous, $180 on a thurs night. Too lazy to do the research myself. Thx

I think the main distinction between the 1-2 nl and the 2-5 nl game is a lot more old timers that play pretty snug. Ive had +1000 and -1000 days there at 2-5 and its usually due to me getting too creative against these old timers when I brick. Its hard to get them off top pair.

Anyone here play the 5-10 nl game on the weekends? Im thinking of taking a go at it when I get to town in a couple weeks. Anyone play in the one on Friday that runs is Louisville? How do the two stack up if someone has played in both?

In less time than it took to type your question, you could have went to: Hotels.com, or Priceline.com and found the answer you were looking for.

If you go to the WSOPC Cincinnati thread there is more detailed info where other people have booked, & areas to avoid.

5/10 NL rarely runs here any more. I've seen it once in the last two months. The floor tries to promote it but it just doesn't have enough interest. Usually what happens is they'll be 6 or 7 names on the list, they'll call the list, and only 4 or 5 will still be there. At least some of those that are there won't want to play shorthanded or risk giving up their 2/5 seat for a game that might not last. Almost all of the bigger action players around here have made the switch to PLO. When the 5/10 NL did run it usually revolved around two certain action players; one of them rarely comes any more and one is now banned. I've heard the Louisville game is pretty good but I haven't played it myself.

Anything that's nice and close to or in downtown it going to be expensive. If you want something clean, in a safe area, and under $100 a night you won't find it near the casino.

Anyone on 2+2 won their way into a wsop circuit main event seat via these daily tournaments? I'm gonna be in town in a couple weeks grinding cash and tourneys to try and get one. The promo is too good to pass up.

Just about anything in Blue Ash, Tri-County, Florence, Erlanger, would be fine, most are within 15-20 min. depending on traffic. There are so many options you'll just have to go by the reviews of other travelers.

A heads up the first weekend of the series is also the weekend of "Octoberfest" the largest in the country drawing 500k people for the weekend, and on Sunday the Bengals host the Packers, so rooms are going to be a little higher

More like a 5 minute drive really. Just hop on I-471 and you're there with the quickness.

Booked Red Roof Inn in Blue Ash for Sat. and Sun. $168 total. Not greatest price, but decent and it has pretty good reviews. I wanted to be north of the city.

I made a trip to the Horseshoe yesterday to play some cash, it was my 2nd time there. I played 1/2NL for a while (started about 2pm) and had a nitty table. Got a table change but ended up playing the 1-2-5 PLO when it started. Pretty impressed with that game....the table had a good mix of aggro/passive players, and stacks started getting deep pretty quick. I left $800 in the good after a couple hours of play.
