Apparently the Vic has a free car park on Brendon street, but you have to give you’re keys to someone at the gate and get them back at the end. I was not clear from the phone if you get them back at the car park or the casino after they move you’re car. How does that work and what about tips?

do you get a player card/comps sort of thing?

The car park is directly beneath the Vic, to access it you go via Brendon Street, you hand your keys to the guy who parks it and holds on to them until you return.

there are no comps, most UK casino's do not have them at such low stakes if at all.

im going to london within a month and im a couple of questions,

what is the entry fee of the empire and the vic

No entry fee at either, you can but chips at the cashier or you can sit at the table and the dealer will call a chip runner to change it up

I went at 4pm on Sunday and there was only one 1/1 game running which surprised me as I suspected much more (especially as the room is 24/7).

My question is what are the best times for 1/1? And is there genuinely always atleast one 1/1 game going? Even in the mid-morning (like 11-3ish)?

Evenings are a good time for the 1/1s, there tends to be 3 tables running + a waitlist at about 7-9pm on busy evenings. This is especially true for Friday/Saturday evenings. By about 1am the waitlist tends to disappear but 2-3 tables continue running.

Yeah there is always £1/£2, 1/1 is a little more rare, friday + saturday nights are good for 1/1 because there are fewer regs playing aswell

Anyone going to be around the Vic tonight?

I'll be there from 9pm - 6 unless I hit my stop loss or the games dry up.

But yeh I wanted to know. Could I get a game of 2/5 or 5/10 every day? I assume so but I have no idea what the live poker scene is like over here.

Yeah, every day. Mainly 1/2 but they have a 5/10 game if you are feeling adventurous.

Hey guys, I am going to go and play my first ever live cash games this evening at The Vic, in London.

I have played in tournaments there before but never experienced the cash games, first hand. I have a few questions that I would really appreciate someone answering

1) How do I ask to join a game, (I play 1/1) ?
2) Where/how do I get my chips ?
3) Do I have to tip, if so how do I go about doing so ?
4) If I'd like to leave the game, how do I go about doing so ?
5) If I have won some chips where do I cash them in for cash ?

Sorry for the check-list guys, and I will probably think of more questions as the day goes on xD

I look forward to seeing your replies.

It's £40 F/o, £2 fee, not been to the Fox yet so couldn't comment but Vic pulls around 70 runners for their Friday tournament.

They take 10% of the prizepool out as well so the rake isn't really that low.

Tourney is pretty ****ing soft as you can imagine, very fast structure though so bit of a luckfest. I came 5th once, busted with AQ<A7, 7 on the river!!
