I've been watching the Bravo app and the 50/100 game has gone from no waiting list to 1 and now 2, so I'm assuming it's full and people showed up around the dinner hour. Just amazing to see this happening in Sonoma County.

Are the Graton Rewards Points the same as your food comps, or are they separate like in total rewards? On the Graton Rewards site I have 12,000 points -- is that $12?

They could also be call-ins, too.

Good point. The game may not be full if they're call-ins.

According to to Bravo 50/100 is still going and there's 17 on the 10/25 list (no game going). I hope it's not all the 101 regs taking their shot and going broke.

Yep. I bet lots of those people have been playing most of the last 48 hours or more.

Not there today yet, but have been past two days. They started 10/25NL Tuesday around 3pm, 4-6 players till 1am when I left. Showed up at 3pm on Wednesday and 3 players were left with the stakes up to 50/100NL. Left Wednesday night at 1am again, same players playing 4 handed, a few of them on a 30+ hour session.

So still going according to Bravo.
I swung by there this morning at 9:30 and there were four guys at the table. One young guy looked ready to pass out. Heard through the grapevine that these huge games are hosted, so looked for more in the future.

I got there about 3pm today, they were 3 handed with what looked like at least 250k on the table. I was playing in a table right next to them so whenever there was a big pot I'd go over and check it out. These guys were just nuts after 3 days of playing. The sickest hand I saw was when a well known local player whose name I won't mention went to the river heads up with 87 offsuit and caught a 6 to make a gutshot straight, winning a 50k pot.

The game broke about 7pm.

Full house tonight, 18 games going, the place was actually warm and they're improving running the board and filing seats more every week.

the two biggest games are 10/25 NL holdem and a mixed game that is half 25/50 PLO and half 50/100 NL holdem. Both games were full when I left with people waiting to play.

A nice benefit I've noticed to having increasingly larger games is that the smaller games are softer as a result of the better players moving up.

So is 5/10 uncapped here? The dealer and no one seemed to have a firm answer probably because they don't have a policy. There should be a cap. People who play with $10k stacks just scare away players looking to take shots.

It would be nice if 5/10 became a permanent daily game and I think having a cap would help that. I think around $3000 would be good and still allow for deep stack play.

I think they do have a policy for each game and probably the dealer didn't know it. Call and ask to talk to a floor person.

As for taking shots, what does it matter if the bigger stack has twice as much as you or 20 times as much? For all intents and purposes, their stack is exactly equal to yours when you go all-in. If you're playing very shortstacked, it doesn't matter either because you tend to play more premium hands you're willing to go all-in with.

Well I personally don't care and I will play 5/10 there regardless but I am saying having massive stacks particularly when a game starts can scare away players taking shots. We are talking about recreational players here who don't know what effective stack means.

I play the lower stakes no-limit too, but I like the way this room has taken the training wheels off so-to-speak and are catering to bigger games and players.

They're drawing people from all over, which creates bigger games, and then the better players move up to the bigger games, making the smaller games even softer.

I got there yesterday at noon and put my name down for 10/25 and despite being second on the interest list before the game started I wasn't called for the game until 10pm when I was leaving. Kind of annoyed that the game has a predetermined list set by the game organizer. I understand he is doing work to get the game established but I hope that in the future when it's steady it becomes first come first serve.

Did you express your displeasure to the Shift Manager? Tell him that if he wants what is in effect a "private game", that is what he will get.

Isn't that standard with these hosted games? You have to get in touch with the host.

As far as more "Taking the training wheels off..." I believe the 2/5 game min buy-in should be raised to $200. Taking out the super-short stackers will not hurt the game. And besides, there is a perfectly nice 1/3 game with a 50-500 buy-n for those folks.

We were playing 25/50 for both games; 50/100 ran earlier in the week though.

Yeah. I would just walk up to the 10/25 table next time and ask for the host. Get the # to text. You should be fine after.

I'm all for youngsters doing there thing and all. Good for them I say. You all know Jeremy I'm sure. He of the constant "Daddy's here", and "I'm a survivor", and "Do you know anyone more sick than me?" comments. Somewhat annoying but he drinks too much, which combined with his already exploitable style is not a bad thing, except that he slows the game way, way down.
Loud is a little bothersome. Goofiness is whatever, but it is hard enough to get hands in a live game without him hollywooding or smashed beyond understanding and not know what's going on.

Has anyone seen the 5-10 NL or 5-10 mixed run full on a weekday? Both games seem to only occur friday / saturday.

I check Bravo all the time and I see it running often. Right now there are 7 on the interest list.
Played last Thursday and the game began at 4pm
