I played at Graton the first time last night. Few tips, I got there around 6 and they had a small list on the 1/3nl so if you can get there earlier the better. After 10-11, they were 90 + deep so it was at minimum a 3 hour wait.

Parking in the garage is easy, just take the elevator down and the poker room is right there. Restrooms are right there as well as the food court. They don't have a dinner list, and you have 30 minutes before they pick you up. If you think you have time to get a bite to eat and come back, good luck. The food court lines were pretty backed up on a Saturday night, don't know bout other nights. You will end up walking around tryin to find short lines. Also, I heard that wing place sucks in the food court.

As far as the room, it does have that "vegas" feel to do it. The cocktail waitresses are so hot, it's crazy. Even all the women walkin around, so much ass...player quality there seems to be a mix of amateurs and people that actually knew what they were doin. Like they said if you can't spot the sucker in the first 10 min, then ure it lol...Dealers are okay, but when they change dealers it seemed like it was delayed a bit.

I'll be back for sure, it beats Cache Creek anyday just because of the atmosphere.

The Bravo app wasn't really accurate for some reason.

The PLO at MDL was great.
damn yooooooouuuuuuu brownkeeper!!!!!
you beat me by 5 days.

i had seen a plo game running at Graton on bravo before i arrived, but by the time i got there (~12am) it had died. there were some small limit holdem games running and the 2/5nl game had a board, so i played 1/3nl for a couple of hours.

yes, i played plo at MDL and it was amazing. on my 2nd hand dealt, i had a guy c/r pot it against me after i flopped the nut full. he had 1 live kicker with his trips and ........ no waiting. but i did end up a nice winner in the game.

Week nights are not a problem at all. Even friday night at 5pm there were almost nobody in line. I think the opening rush is over and it's still tapering off.

If you like mexican food, try La Fondita in the food court, it's fantastic, the real thing. Cheap too.

This alone would make the room so much better. I played there last Sunday (11/17) for a few hours, and I only saw the wait staff come through a few times. Having to rely on them to even get water at the table will get old really fast (though I expect I'll just make "grab a bottle of water" an item on my "on the way to Graton" list).

The drink service is really really slow. They need about 4x more servers working. Food court lines were all long for me around 6:30 pm, I'll try and go at 5pm next time. The wing place is the only one I've been able to eat at because of the lines. It's perfectly fine, just overpriced.

I doubt there have ever been games this big in Sonoma County. I also heard that a guy won $70,000 in the 2/5 PLO game last week, busting 6 players to do it.

They've turned down the volume in the adjacent slot area and they're improving working the board, so the atmosphere is more relaxed.
What are the buy ins for the 2/5 and 5/5 PLO games?

I know, there was about two of them when i was there last Saturday. Both pretty hot, I must say. They should know most poker players don't drink anything but water, so always have some on their tray. I know they just opened so I'm hoping they figure it out in in the next few weeks. I heard that DK wing place sucks, I mean if they woulda put a wingstop in there it woulda been bomb.

Traffic continues to slow down at off peak times, but still pretty busy at nights. Last night (sunday) had almost all tables full, with 4 1-3s, 3 2-5s and a 5-10 nlh/plo mix.

Games are great imo, with mix of players from all over.

Waitresses are def. hot as well. Managed to get the digits of a pretty cute one.

Here again tonight. Say whats up if you are around. I have a blue hat and scarf on.

Sorry, I wasn't perfectly clear. 2/5nl is what I stated. I do not know exactly what the PLO limits are, but I would assume they are deeper stacked as well.

So how is this place a "resort casino" without any amenities like a spa or hotel? Is that to come?

What about the limit games? Did they ever start a game bigger than 6/12?

Can anyone add some input on the PLO game. I heard its uncapped. Is there any truth to this?

If so, what is the typical buy in for the game? $1k, $2k, $5,... ? If its capped, what are the limits?

Thanks

What if the game just starts though and there is no largest stack.

Oh you're right, I misread.

I just called them and she said $500 min - uncapped on a new game. Then when the game's going you can buy up to the max stack. She said it's the same as the 5/10 NL game.

They've got a 50-100 NL holdem game going today. And I thought the 10-25 game that goes all weekend was big.

Middle of the week 50/100nl...Where are these people coming from?
Is Jeremy playing? That would be something to watch "Daddy" in that game. But seriously, what regs might be playing in that one?

The 50/100 game was a 10/25 game that went all night, then when they got down to 3 players they switched to 50/100.

The 10/25 game's got an unofficial host according to one of the dealers, he's organizing the big games and they're coming from all over the SF bay area when the game is spread. They're talking about changing the usual 10/25 game to 25/50 if it keeps going.

I don't know who's playing the 50/100.
