Whenever they have a game you should play there.
I know the OP personally. I know the back story you reference as well. One has little to do with the other. I myself grinded there when they reopened so I know it well. I know the staff well. Some for 20 years.
It is poorly ran. Mostly due to upper management of the property not the poker room management. Although I've had questions about how he runs things as well.
Bottom line is they are located next to one of the biggest rooms in the country with a ton of action. I've played all around the country and the GN in it's hey day 18 months ago was decent. For any cash game player there are better rooms right in the city. The idea a room will shut a game down in NJ because of curfew is ludicrous.
It's not a great room. It's reg infested. The promos are so so. Better ones in town. You'll never get a room there playing poker. So to tell the OP stop this $&@& is uncalled for. If you do well god bless you but it's not a goldmine.
IMO no room is that great In the city which is why I play at Parx. But that's another story.
