I sat at the table closest to the front door, near the desk. I didn't notice any other tables.
When I sat, there were mostly 250 - 400 (normal) stacks. A couple 600-1000 (large) stacks on opposite ends. We added a player from the other table with about 1k, and another young reg sat with 500+ later in the session.
Average stack size does't tell the correct story, it's probably in the 500-600 range, but nobody seemed to have exactly that.
No short stackers. Lots of people that were familiar with each other, but not necessarily from just GN.
Floors didn't really seem to manage the room. Unless prompted, they didn't check for open seats to fill. The 30 minute high hand wasn't quite handled the way I thought, and because I waited for others to color up, I wasn't colored up (rack was recently filled). I suppose I was walking to the cashier anyway, but a few chips in the pocket are much easier than a rack from the poker room, into the hotel, down the escalator, through the retail area, into the casino and over to the cashier.
