Franklin, KY Poker Club? Franklin, KY Poker Club?

I have heard from multiple sources that on March 3rd in Franklin, KY that a new Poker Club is opening up called "Double Barrel". Unfortunately I cannot seem to find any corroborating evidence online as in a Facebook page or similar online presence.

Can anyone here confirm this or provide any additional information?

If this is true, this will be the 4th poker club in this Southern Kentucky 150 mile radius. The other 3 are located in Paducah, Oak Grove, and Hendersonville. Plus, Evansville, which is close to all those rooms, USED to have a poker room in their casino (formerly Aztar then formerly Tropicana and now Bally's) but haven't opened it back up since COVID. Makes me wonder if all these poker clubs popping up will make them question losing the revenue it used to generate. 🤔 On one hand, I know casinos generally don't like poker rooms and would much rather put in more slot machines. On the other hand, casinos HATE it when competition takes their customers or money ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Interesting take but factually questionable. It is Henderson not Hendersonville. Also def not southern KY since it is literally northern border. Heck, some of Henderson is literally north of the Ohio river.

Plus properly located a 300 mile circle would not only cover most of KY but could include parts of 7+ states depending on precisely where centered. Also your are ignoring at least one other casino poker room in that circle

As I recall the Trop now Bally poker room in Evansville was effectively dead before COVID hit. Sure they could reopen but not betting on it. Casinos don’t care about the revenue stolen when the costs to retain that revenue or reclaim it is a net negative. People forget that comparatively poker is expensive to operate, at least to do it well.

The farther West you go the more the state thins. Technically by your definition Paducah is in northern Kentucky but drive an hour South and you're in Tennessee. I personally think of Northern Kentucky as the area around Cincinnati but to each his or her own. I dont want to quibble over geography. In poker miles, all those clubs are pretty close. I know a lot of people around middle Tennessee (Nashville area) who used to regularly drive to Evansville for poker so people will sure as Hell drive to the 4 clubs I mentioned plus any others I may have missed if they are in the same area and have good games.

And I know casions don't like poker. That was the first thing I said in my OP. Franklin, KY Poker Club?

Looks like some newly elected county official is on a power trip in McCracken County causing problems in Paducah ... Franklin, KY Poker Club?

I did find the new Franklin Club link. It's Triple Barrel, not Double, as I had originally thought:

Hopefully those local officials don't act like ass hats.
