Knowing Burd, he's trolling. Obv don't go to guys for fine dining.

I would recommend Mohegan in lieu of foxwoods. Way better over there.

I always have. It's the only place that has a surcharge now that gas is 1:1.

Bake Culture is 2:1

Good to know. I'm unfamiliar with the Outlets foodies, haven't eaten at any of them.

I'm going to add this info to the FAQ. If anyone knows of any exceptions to the 1:1 (be it surcharge, different ratio, or no points accepted at all ) let me know. So far I have Guys and Bake Culture.

Fortunately they're right next to each other. Just avoid the entrance to Tanger.

Starbucks next to Bake Culture at Tanger doesn’t take points for some reason

I need help navigating the fine dining options at the woods. For example, should I take him to cedars or burke steakhouse? Setting price aside, which has the tastier menu?

Thanks and appreciate any suggestions to make the trip on point!
Burke's, no question.

I’m pretty sure everything is marked up about 25% when you spend points or is just overpriced to begin with… we would have to boycott the entire comp system by boycotting the casino.

You're completely missing the point.

Kinda silly when you spend literally thousands of dollars at the tables over a few hours and they nickel & dime over a few dollars in comp usage.

Foxwoods comps work just like regular money, but they're, uh, fun

I went to under armor picked out shoes and a hat and they were like we don’t take Foxwoods comps

Some of the Tanger Outlet stores don't. The website lists which stores do and which don't.

Okay, I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t hear conflicting answers. Was online poker snuck in on the new sports betting laws with the casinos and the CT Lottery?! If not I’m good with that but if it was I’d love someone to drop a link to a story from a reputable source. Thanks!

The good news is that online poker is legal.

https://www.pokernews.com/news/2021/...oker-39265.htm

The bad news is that only Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods can run it. Neither is even close at the moment to actually having a site up and running. Several analysts have stated CT is too small to sustain an online poker site and will need to join a multi-state grouping. And no, you can't just sign up for a Pokerstars account and play now.

Mohegan Sun used to have an online poker site (8-9 years ago) where you could play for fun, and could win rewards points and/or tournament tickets. They should just wipe the dust off that software and fire that back up!

Speaking as someone who works with half a dozen online casinos... It's not that easy.

The problem with Foxwoods online poker is half maybe more of their clientele is out of state so It immediately makes the player pool small. Between Mass, RI and NY.

I would play cash outs at casino would be epic. No more guessing when my agent is going to send or when some site is going to send.

Won many tickets, a hotel stay and even a $100 buy-in for one at Pocono Downs! Loved it!

Haha - I believe it. My comment was mostly tongue and cheek.

Agreed above re: a lot of out of state poker players. CONN need to figure out how to get shared player pool with other legal states, but perhaps that’s a discussion for a different thread
