They apparently did not do this to everyone, and I have no idea how they decided who to do it to. For me this started last month. Yes it is pretty sleazy of them. A "monthly" benefit that isn't offered monthly? I understand why they did it, but don't market it as monthly then.

Seems like the 1/3rd split up is only happening to folks who are Platinum or Diamond. Is there anyone here who is Gold that has had their monthly benefit split into thirds?

Please let me know, I can only make it here about once a month so this would affect my decision whether or not to go for Gold next year

thanks Lattimer.
I did miss that sorry for making you work twice.

That would seem to make more sense for the 1/3 split since Platinum, next level up from Gold is $150 benefit so $50 each trip is more substantial than if they were to split up Gold's $75 for $25/trip.

At least I hope so, I also can only go once a month

Can anyone give me a quick explaination on how the hotel comps works? I'm going to be playing a few days a week at Foxwoods for the next 6 months while living in MA.

I have the base level card (wonder) but after about 80 hours of play I'm already more then half way to gold. I've taken 3 trips in which I've used my hotel offers to book free rooms for 2 nights and been playing about 20-25 hours the 2 nights I'm there.

Anyway it appears that I still have hotel comps (2 nights sun-thur) in my offers but when I go to reserve a room it says rooms not available. No way the hotels are sold out right? It looks like maybe I can't get anymore rooms? Can anyone help me with more info?

Thanks

There are only a certain number of free rooms available. Once they're gone, you're going to have to pay.

Free rooms offers are typically made available mid-late month for the month after next, so mid-late February they will release April rooms. Often times you need to snap them up quickly before they are gone. Some days may have availability while some won't.
If you need specific dates, keep checking every day, especially in the last couple days as cancellations may open up more rooms.

It is good practice to check again once you get inside 48 hours of your trip as many people lock up the free rooms then cancel if their plans change. This has opened up rooms in the past and I'd presume it would continue especially in the winter with the weather factor in play.

This seems so predictable.

My money is on them making a late cancellation announcement only on Bravo so people will arrive expecting the promo. The response will simply be, "The cancellation was posted to Bravo." Instead of 92 tables they'll have 60-70 on a Monday without having to dish out 3k every hour until they reschedule later in the month to fill the room on that day.

Anyone want my action?

Players pay for these promo days with the extra white chip they take most hands. Any funds not paid out today will stay in the pool for future payouts of either high hands or bad beat jackpots.

If it’s run the success will be dependent on how many of the dealers show up for work. The wait list could get very long if they can’t open the expected amount of tables.

Exactly they currently budget for one of these 3k/hr promos per month. This was why I made the call that they would reschedule for say two weeks out while still receiving the benefit of a mostly full room today by those not aware of a cancellation.

Anyway, looks like I was wrong and that the promo is still running today.

Yesterday, I got an email saying that I could get 20 comp point this coming Saturday. Is this in addition to the normal weekend comp points that l receive? Anyone.

Yes it's a bonus in addition to the normal Fri-Sun one. It's also listed in your offers online.

Got it but since they don't offer me a room on Sat, won't be taking advantage of it. Going Sun and Mon for long holiday weekend.

I usually use my reward points to buy gas cards at Winners.

I went to Winners yesterday to buy a $50 gas card with my reward points and they only charged me 62.50 points. Usually the cost is 75 points. I asked the salesperson how long the lower price was going to last and she said she didn't know.

Thought I would post this information so that others might want to take advantage of this lower price.

Thanks woody. This promo doesn't seem to advertised anywhere. 80% value is pretty good.

If the gas card is not just for the overpriced mobil station then it's a good deal. Otherwise I would rather save my points for something else

I went to play this weekend and the room was unusually warm.

The room is normally really cold and I bring some warm clothes to wear including a sweatshirt and an overcoat.

I am not sure how long this warmer than usual temperature is going to last, so be prepared for anything.

I buy the Exxon/Mobil gas cards. They are good for my local Exxon/Mobil gas station here is Massachusetts where I live. I assume that they are good for any Exxon/Mobil gas station.

I know that they also have other gift cards, besides Exxon/Mobil.

They're good at any of them. The only ones that are restricted to the on-site station are when they're part of a giveaway (they're marked as Pequot Outpost).

Thanks woodie. I'll check it out. Just don't use the gift card at the local Foxwoods station. It's overpriced to start
