Bellissimo is adequate enough, and they have a free shuttle (though it only run until 2:30 or so). It's as cheap as you'll find if you don't want to drive.

Days Inn in Mystic is about 20 minutes away and 60$ on a weekend. I don't think it's a bad spot either.

Have they gotten any more lenient about phones? Haven't been in about two weeks because of it. Sick of getting harrassed/threatened not to be dealt in when I'm clearly not using my phone and just listening to music. Alot of regs complained and it seems they haven't done anything about it.

I asked a shift who I'm friendly with if they would be easing off the ridiculous over reaction to phone use and he said no. So I haven't gone. Hoping they are realizing this is costing them regs and will ease up soon.

Coming in this week, but if they continue to excessively bust my balls, I'm probably done for good. There are plenty of other options these days to play at with more on way. FW isn't the only game in town anymore and they better realize it fast.

Maybe I get the girl bias here, but it's been fine for me. I keep the phone in my lap when I'm in a hand and only use it when I'm not in a hand.

I played here all through February/March and as each week has passed they have become more lenient on the phone rule. I haven't seen it be an issue in about a month.

It helps if you say where you're resting your phone - cupholder, rail, lap, other?

So High Hands are going on 3 days/wk all month. During those days the BBJ is inactive right?

On cupholder if I don't have a drink there and next to it if I do. With all the new dealers they need to keep their focus on not making errors in the game. Maybe the powers that be recognized that and removed the phone use as an initiative for them to focus on.

Yes the wave of new dealers has also been brutal. They dumped about 30 of them into the room recently and had them dealing all games, which was a total nightmare.

You just can't have brand new dealers popping in to deal plo and giant mix games. I was in 2/5 plo a couple weeks ago with a new dealer and the table had to walk him through every action. We got 4 hands in that half hour. Definitely factored into my not going there lately, but the phones were my primary reason.

Hoping the new dealers mproved and/or the powers that be realize you need to keep them away from bigger/more complicated games until they do.

Coming in tonight. Hoping for the best but not holding my breath

Had a dealer start crying in the middle of a down during the tournament the other day

I have to say that I'm not a fan of this April HHF. Found out today that Monday, Wednesday, Thursday's WILL NOT have the normal $250/4hr session during the month.

Cons:
1 - 3 seperate days instead of 4 consecutive
2 - Old promo was 24 hours Monday thru Thurs...now only CERTAIN times on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

Pros:
???????????

I hope they tweak this to make what could be a very good promo in May.

She's new and had been having a hard time all day I heard. Than I put a bad beat on someone and the next hand when he went to put his ante in, he tried to bounce it in front of him and it went flying into the dealer tray and she wasn't looking and I guess she though he threw his chips at her

When I went last week Friday night for the high hand, two dealers said that the bbj was still on.

Based on experience, and speaking only about 2/5 and 5/10 NLHE and various PLO games (all cash only, no tournaments), other than some occasional softplay between reg's, I don't think you're going to see much collusion or cheating at FW.
PS: Poker supervisors are "floors"; "pit bosses" run table games.

90%+ of recreational players do not effectively differentiate between collusion, soft play, and two players not willing to tangle with each other so they simply call it collusion and spread rumors.

Unless there are specific examples cited of signals being passed or two players teaming up with 3bets to trap a caller the cries of collusion don't hold much weight.

Can anyone tell me what the 20/40 limit hold 'em game will be like this Friday night? One or two tables? How does it play? Thanks in advance.

This. FW is a very clean room reputation wise. Floor actively looks for teams and is not afraid to kick anyone out if anything shady is going on. But it really just doesn't come up much, if ever there.

There were 2 full 20/40 limit games last night at 3am and they were off the hook. Saturdays are always the best day to play, but Friday usually has 1 game go through the night and 2 games during the day. It's hit or miss on quality, just depends how many regs are in it vs casual players. 40 always goes Saturday, sometimes Fri. Obviously if the 40 is going, the 20 will be softer since many of the better players are trying to play higher. But there are a good amount of solid players who only play 20.

I would recommend coming Saturday over Fridays, but both days usually have good to great games esp at night.

Does anybody know around what time we can expect the June hotel options to be sent out? I am trying to plan a week down there and take work off.

Those who get free weekends will get them on the 15th of this month, all others get them 5-7 days later.
