Oh. My. God.

When a jackpot is hit, the new one is ~33% of the old one (the reserve is about 50% of the current jackpot, but they take 1/3 of that for the new reserve, and 2/3 becomes the new jackpot). Do you not see that the 44k and 22k amounts are 50% and 25% of the 89k jackpot, and they have the same date? Those would not be the new jackpot amounts if they were getting hit. For some reason they posted the 2 big payouts along with the total, they did it for the 252k one as well (it was there yesterday for the 252k payouts, but I see they removed it). Use your head folks.

Well it's kinda deceiving now. The previous times hit only showed the jackpot hit; not the payouts for the guy hitting the badbeat, giving the badbeat and the rest of the table. Some day I'd like to be at least at the table. I don't think that's asking for too much! 😎

As small as it is, stud bad beat just hit at 1-5 for just over $20k. 7 high straight flush vs quad jacks.

Have they put in "run it twice" yet in the poker room?
Quote

No. My suggestion is Foxwoods should allow a 2nd board, if all players in the hand agree, for $1 in extra rake

Not sure how relevant this is, but a buddy of mine who has been wanting to be a dealer for a while just got invited to an interview thing. I guess they are doing classes for new inexperienced dealers. Not sure when these newbies will be making it to the room, but I guess it's a positive sign that they are hiring new dealers. He has been trying for like 3 years, and this is only the 2nd time they ran these classes, he couldn't do it the first time.
