I remember reading in this thread that the great cedar fitness center is pretty crappy right?

if im staying in cedar am i allowed to use the pequot gym for example?

someone in a poker forum on facebook is saying something about the loser of the bbj hand had some sort of warrant, was taken away by police and forfeited his 68k

68k would be about what the winning hand would've received. And that's also about how much the BBJ is above expected. Makes sense that something happened and his share was forfeited.

He can try all he wants, but don't see him winning a lawsuit when he self bans and sneaked in thru poker room (which btw, is sooooo easy for underage kids to get in there)

this is why lawsuit has no chance
he was committing an illegal act at the time of "winning " the BB
now you can sue a ham sandwich so the prospect of losing may not be a deterrent

He won't win but I'm pretty sure he will sue. I could see it being worded that he self banned himself for a time but felt the ban was up or some other BS.

Anyine can sue anyone, but basically, he has no case. He was there illegally. Also, the forfeited money doesn't go to the house, but back into the pool for the players, so FW has nothing to gain, they're just enforcing the rules.
Self-bans are very clear, and generally are permanent.
In any case, he'd need to sue FW in Tribal Court. GL on that one.

Yes the Cedar fitness center is laughable. Like a large walk-in closet with a couple squeaky decaying machines. Cedar and Two Tree guests also have complimentary access to the Pequot pool/gym. Only Fox Tower guest are charged($15 fee).

Two things. One, a self-ban automatically disqualifies you from any jackpot winners as you would be an ineligible participant not to mention committing a crime of trespassing. Secondly, when the player won the pot he scooped his chips, picked up, and cashed out at the window without the other players, dealer, or floor knowing what was going on. He told a fellow player on the way out that he was a self-ban and had to leave before he got into further trouble. He never "officially" claimed his jackpot since he knew he was ineligible for it.
