Timing is everything! Went down new years eve in the am while my wife was at work, I play 1/2 buy in for $100, as I really don't have the roll for it but like to take a stab at it once in a while. 1st real hand guy raises to $10, i reraise to $30 preflop with QQ and get him and another guy to call. Flop comes Q 10 2 with 2 diamonds so I shove all in to make the flush draw pay, guy with AK flat calls my $56 i had left and the original raiser folds his 44. Turn is a 4, which if i checked, he would of put the other guy all in and ak could not call over $300 then, but of course my bad timing of shoving it in knocked his set out and left the gutterball in to river me.

Then the very next hand i rebuy for my $100, call with KJ suited for $16 from the guy who raised with the 4's and straddled this hand (i know not the best idea but i did come to play) and hit top pair, and decide to flat call for $25, which some guy with ace 4 and a gutshot decided to call and hit his gutshot on the turn, in which I call his all in for some dumb reason even though when its time to turn em over i say if you got the ace 4 you got it, lol. This is the hand I should have went all in apparently.

After that I went and played the 4/8 omaha game to fill the rest of the time i could play and dropped $80, but with the right timing I could of had a decent stack! Thats how this game goes sometimes, zig when ya should zag.

why are they upping the buy-ins by like 50 bucks, and 100 bucks etc.

The last one had 340, 560, 1100. This one is 400, 600, 1200. Plus these lame mutli-Day1 cheap ones.

they are ruining their best series imo along with the days they are messing up the buyins as well..they should have kept it like it was in august and previous ones

along with the absurd room rates on fri/sat they are gonna get less turnout

When they just ran the 340/560/1650 it was fine. This way it works out better for me though. I only play the 560/600, and with it falling on Fri/Sat, the fewer days I have to take off work the better.

Those are very conflicting buy ins IMO.

I can't see the 300 doing well at all. But it will probably have a huge overlay which is good.

The best of the Prelims seems to be the 400....only 5k less in chips than the 600 and pretty much the same levels.

Ill probably play the 300 and 1200 and see how the 400 turns out probably reg late.

I really don't like how they have done this. The turnout was tremendous for the August Megastack so they decide to change it up almost completely. I don't see such a strong showing for these events but WTH I will still play the 2, 3, and 4 hundred events and if I run good the main event.

1-2 PLO H/L ran all day Monday, then at night in was changed into a 5-10 HORSE game that was full till midnight.
