I was curious if anyone reading was at my $1/2 table overnight Friday/Saturday, 12-4am. Seemed like 4-5 candidates.

The table was hopping when I got in. There was a drunk guy spewing badly.

I knew he was drunk right away because everyone was calling him drunk guy. "Drunk guy bets $50", "Drunk guys all in". Fun game.

The guy next to me won a $500-600 pot with a set of jacks shortly after I got there.

There was also a guy who tanked forever three times and got a bunch of people riled up. I thought it was kind of funny. We weren't paying time. I was trying to figure out what on earth the poor man was thinking about.

"I'm probably going to win. But if I lose my wife isn't going to have sez with me for three weeks. But I'm probably going to win..."

My friend and I had a fun night and both of us ended up on the plus side. Hopefully I can find the time to do it again soon.

I think I caught the drunk guy who staggered to our table, this was around 6 a.m., slurring his words, mumbling to himself, kept trying to order vodka from the waitress. I busted him with two pair, hate to take money from someone like that in such bad condition, honestly, but if wasn't going to be me, it would have been someone else.

Don't get me wrong, love playing with the drunks! I'll never forget the drunk kid who went through 800 in about 20 minutes at our 1/2 table last year.

I heard a story right before I left on Saturday of a dealer smacking a player at the table with a deck of cards, didn't get all the details as the dude telling it got in a hand and I had to get back home.

Anyone know the details? Something about the player constantly complaining to the dealer about not getting hands, the dealers whacks the guy with the cards, or something like that?

Hi guys,

Quick question: Does the Survivor Series structure seem good to you? Anyone thinking of participating in it? It's from June 22-26.

Hey guys, does foxwoods still run a weekly 500+60 mtt on saturdays and if so about how many does it draw/what's first? Thanks!

Lately, I think it's been drawing around 180-200 people or so. That makes first place around $30-35K. They pay about top 10% or a little over.

that and the tuesday rebuy tourney get huge prize pools...score a top 5 in one of those and you're freerolled into the summer

that is a joke...i think they are running too many tourneys and tourney series and all sorts of variations of tourneys at the woods...they have these retarted turbo tourneys 2 times a day that aresnt even poker tournaments, they just turn into shove fests after the first round or 2...dont think you are a great player if you win one of those...also, it's very obvious that the poker boom is done, the only people left are the good players and the rich players....and a few new ones here and there...the woods should have fewer tourneys and give the players more chips and more time

So less entry fees (revenue) and more time invested by staff. That won't go over well

Haha yeah, my bad. I was there yesterday too, and I heard about the 15 player field. My estimation was from about a month ago. It may have even been before the WPT tourney, so maybe it died off after that as well.
