That will be fine. I'm used to more aggro games and 25 big bets can go pretty fast even when playing well. But for the first time that should be fine.
Kill basics:
1) you have to account for posting the kill blind on the next hand when making decisions in pots that will end up over the kill trigger ($100). Pot odds and implied odds take a hit.
2) not all kill posts are the same. Some will tell you the kill is like extra rake, and that's not entirely accurate. You have equity in any posted blind. You have much more equity in a kill blind posted on the button than one posted UTG. Be more willing to do the former than the latter.
3) try to understand how the kill affects different opponents. Some will see the higher stakes and tighten up significantly. Some will see the extra blind money and get crazy trying to win it. Try to figure out who is who.
4) Chopping in kill pots is dicy. The killer is getting an enormous freeroll. But the rake is still pretty high. We'd like to be winning more than our fair share of big pots and, thus, hoping to post more than our fair share of kill blinds. But we should also be raising our kill more liberally than they will so I think we won't get the freeroll as often as they will. I'm not sure what the right answer is but I don't like to do it.
Good luck and post a TR in small stakes.
