Used to. They kept the good rates going for me for some reason. They are creeping up on me though, those prices I listed are actually higher than what I used to get. Weekend prices I'm getting quoted on now are starting to get too high for my liking... the reason I'm primarily at Two Trees now opposed to MGM.

This may be the technical difficulty they are referring to.

Great point. I did notice that 100% of my points were available for Cash Reward, and there's no way that should've been, since at LEAST half of them are from the weekly promo points.

I just got my free room offers for October. Mon - Thurs only. And I was actually able to book one free night at the Pequot.

Edit: I am actually pretty happy with the food at Hard Rock. Service can be meh sometimes but my buddy Stacy from the Stadium works there now. I am not sure how many bar shifts she has I didn't think to ask her. I saw her Monday. She is a cool chick.

The sandwiches were like 12 to 15 iirc. I think the steak and fries dish was like 25(maybe 20) Pizzas I think were like 15 dollars. Apps were like 12 to 15 also.

I didn't get to eat there so I am not sure how the portions are but if I know Ed Kane the quality is very good. I was pretty surprised though when I saw it because I expected it to be "high roller" prices and it really wasn't.

Well the best restaurant if price is no object I would say is Prime Steakhouse. Al dente was pretty good but I haven't eaten there for a long time. I actually mentioned to the bartender yesterday at the Racebook that I didn't go to Cedars Steakhouse anymore because the quality went way down hill and he said he knew that and apparently it has gotten better recently according to him. I might give it one more shot. I really used to LOVE Cedars back in the day.

If you want something small and don't want to get waited on and stuff the
5th street cafe in the poker room has really good burgers and their breakfast sandwiches are really good too. Very reasonably priced. Good clam chowder also. I usually eat breakfast there every morning. Bacon egg and cheese on Kaiser ftw.

The buffet is ok but nothing spectacular. I also like Panera Bread. Lately for my big dinners I have been going to Hard Rock.

Prime is awesome but I can't really afford to eat there too often. Best chicken caesar salad I ever had was there but it better be for 20 bux... If you are going there for dinner be prepared to spend around 60 bux per person just on food and that is if you are thrifty about it. They have a 3 course thing for 45 bux but I think if you want sides with the entree it is like 8bux per side.

Actually almost forgot the Golden Dragon has awesome chinese food. Noodle bar is pretty good too and is open late.

MGM I am not really too sure about. I ate breakfast there one time at Junior's and it was really good but it cost me 30 bux just for myself.

there were alot of regulars there this time as expected on a tuesday night. I played 1/2 through wednesday morning and found a decent amount of action from the few who weren't. in 15 hours i came across 4 people i considered huge fish. Had a decent profit that would have been maxamized had i not pushed kk into aa shortly before leaving. Also stayed at MGM for the first time and was very impressed at the room especially since it was comped.

I can vouch for Cedar's having been improved. I wouldn't put it better or worse than Craftsteak, they are just two different styles IMO. I've never been to David Burke Prime. Cedar's has a great Prime Rib sandwich for lunch though.

Burger/fries and egg/meat/cheese/kaiser are the only 2 things I eat at 5th street, they're both great.

Junior's is great for breakfast, but can be on the pricey side.

Scorpion Bar has the best nachos I've ever had.

I'm a huge fan of California Pizza Kitchen. They have a lot of different dishes that are surprisingly good. Besides the pizza, I love the Avacado Egg Rolls and Sedona Tortilla Soup.

Cedars is getting more of my business lately, sitting in the bar area. Lump crabmeat app, blackened salmon salad, crabcake app, and the burger are all very good.

5th St. is great for a quick bite and then u can get back to business. Sometimes they have decent specials, they are on display so you can see if its going to be good or not just by how it looks. A great place for us "low rollers", stay away from the buffet, unless its breakfast and you want a pretty darn good omelet and more bacon and sausage than the average person would want to consume! You would think they would want to make the food at least taste halfway decent but it tastes like the alleged "chefs" have no clue whatsoever and its just bland tasteless food with no heart at all. If you want to feel like cattle get in line for the buffet, otherwise 5th st. is a much better option. Also Carnegie deli is pretty close relatively and has good corned beef sandys. Noodles is also pretty decent, i've only tried the crispy noodles with pork which is great and i tried some beef dish that wasn't that great at all. All of the asian people usually get soup, so i'm assuming that must be their specialty.

The breakfast buddet at the veranda room is the ****ing tits. I used to stay mon-thurs at the woods for like 6 months and i would eat there for breakfast 2-3 times a week and absolutely loved it.

Dumb question, but I just recently started drinking cappuccinos at FW, and was wondering what would I order at a place like Dunkin Donuts that would be the same as the ones they serve in the poker room? Just a regular cappuccino with cinnamon or something?

Sometimes, but more often than not it's PLO8. Sure is nice to make a buy-in in an hour without making a single pair
