Last 3 trips to foxwoods playing 1/2 its been nothing but nitty games. Need to get a 1/2 plo game going or just play 2/5, there is no gamblers at 1/2 when i go.

T8s = I wish I had seen pretty cards like that to resteal! My shoving/calling ranges are wider than perceived but actual hands/situations didn't fit.

Whats up woodsies... my 1st post ever here, i've been goin down to da woods for over a year now, if anyone sees a big guy with khaki's and a red polo or black polo... that is me! As of now i'm forced to play the 2/4 limit soul sucking game until I can make somewhat of a bankroll. A good day is playing 12 hours and coming home with $160 in profit. Don't know how I do it.. but some days I actually lose, mostly if the table is loose and aggressive with straddles and blind caps! I seem to win vs the super nits for some odd reason. Anyway, i'll be going down there at least 4 times a week, diff times depending on when the wife works, if anyone needs a ride and is not too far off the beaten path of rt2 to 190, to 290 in worcester etc, i'm always up for a passenger. Also if anyone knows of any local "investors" so I could get back to playing 2/5 NL that would be awesome. Till then I lose my soul grinding the 2/4 game for a while, at least the competition is easy as all hell, but i'd rather beat the more skillful players in NL than take 2 and 4 bucks a time from the grumpy old nits and housewives that absolutely have to play every single hand to the end! Hoping to have at least enough to play a couple of tourneys in the october sessions.

I'm new to the area and am going to be splitting my time between FW and MS. After reading the last few pages I see that most of the talk is tourney related. Can anyone point out anything of interest relating to cash games. My regular game is 2/5NLH and the occasional shot at 5/10 if it looks soft. I'm going to be able to play mostly on the weekends and am trying to get some info before deciding where to commit most of my time. Also, any heads up on hotels in the area? I moved to Springfield and it looks like only an hour or so ride but I would rather sleep instead of making several trips in a weekend.

Was there Sat night as well.. left this morning around 10 nobody hit it yet... although a table by the ATM sounded like they did at around 11PM sat night but they were punking the room!! Which IMO was a pretty darn good job of doing it, as everyone was fooled for about 2 minutes lol. After 2 min they were playing again, with no floor there, so obviously they didn't hit it.

Are we talking about the same 1/2 games that I play where someone raises 8 times the blind preflop and gets 2 or 3 callers without hesitation and not even taking position into account sometimes

The looseness of 1/2 tables varies a ton I've found, Friday and Saturday nights of course it is usually somewhat looser but mostly dependent upon table draw(duh).

HAHA! I def remember that hand. I was too busy focusing on eating my fruit to realize that the blinds went up AND I didn't even put out enough chips for the correct raise assuming it was the previous blind level. I love "brain hiccups".
