Second, since slots hold can be adjusted by machine, not possible to know a slot payout. Can generally id relative variance by machine type. Can id machines which might be advantage, but really not certain and definitely high variance. But GENERALLY the better VP pay tables are better payout and cheaper ev for comps even with lower per coin comps.
I was told video poker play results in half the tier credits you'd accrue playing slots.

This statement would be correct

It’s been a minute since I’ve been back to Foxwoods, new puppy, job travel, life, etc. But when I was there last they had boarded up the brand new buffet that had opened before the Rona struck everything.

What are they planning on doing with it and the space? Same question go to Mohegan, I don’t think they ever reopened their buffet either.

The Panera also got closed in that area now too. Tho it was rarely open before anyways like weekends closing at 7pm etc. I assume they will tie that area in with the new Great Wolf Lodge water park they are building for 2025 opening date, but not sure.

Mohegan has a lounge open near hash go, but do not think it's a buffet. They also closed their food court right next to Pepe's for remodeling. Thank God they left Chick-fil-a alone tho!

I've only played it at Moheghan and it's not totally nitty.

did they just replace 1/2? or is 2/5 just going to be gutted now? or will 1/3 just not run?

Action there today is nuts, any particular reason?

Does Foxwoods still wipe out your points balance if you haven’t played in over a year? Also, how do you find out the last time you played there?

You could probably get the points added back if they do take them

Was there over the weekend. The 1/3 NL (100-500) game was running, it is distinct from the 1/2 and 2/5NL. Seemed to eat up a little bit of the player pool for 2/5 which may may drive better action in the game if it sticks. They should really just make 1/2 into 1/3 and be done with it, most rooms offer 1/3 as the lowest stake with 4 or 500 max.

Seeking general consensus: What's the longest one could leave a car in a Foxwoods parking garage without being towed?

It's been forever since I played at Foxwoods and even longer since I played satellites there so I was hoping to get some insight
  1. If you play the $120 and win a $1200 voucher is it tied to the next satellite or can it be held until the following weekend?
  2. Does the $1200 just pay out 12k cash or do they actually have some way to buy you in to the WSOP?
  3. Anybody know approx how late the last few Sunday $1200s have lasted?

1. It's a $200 buy in, not a $120. You can use the $1200 voucher for any of the three remaining Sundays you want to play.

2. Foxwoods handles the $10k seat part. You'll be able to get it at the Paris/Horseshoe cage in Vegas when you register for the main event. Foxwoods also gives out an extra $2k in cash for travel expense for every $10k seat they award.

3. I'm not sure, but my guess would be around 10-12 hours depending on how long the bubble lasts.

I ended up playing the $200 last night. Busted shortly after re-entry period and didn't really circle back when I left a few hours later (9pm) to see how far they were from the payouts.

You were pretty spot on with your estimate for the Sunday event - I spoke with a floor and he said around 11pm if it plays out, 10pm if players try to make a collective deal.

Noticed they're gonna run $275 wsop millionaire maker satellites every thurs-fri starting the 23rd with "$3000 cash payouts" why not just call it a last longer tournament? Why even include the wsop name?

The 1/3 holdem game is on the board but rarely goes AFAIK. Someone at my PLO table said it went a few times mostly populated by 2/5 holdem players but it tends to break when they start another 2/5 holdem.

The 2/5 holdem does appear to be weak at Foxwoods. Yes it can be tight and nitty at times but they need to use more sense when starting games as I'd hate to see it disappear. (it's still profitable to beat up on OMCs and nits). For example I've seen them start a second 2/5 holdem game when it was clear to anyone who pays attention that the existing 2/5 holdem game had several 2-5 PLO players in it waiting for that game to start and the 2/5 holdem list had several PLO players standing around (or killing time in 1/2 holdem) that would almost certainly take the PLO game when it started. Sure enough the PLO game starts a bit later breaking the second 2/5 holdem game which obviously pissed off a few holdem only players. Better would be to start the first 2/5 PLO game before the second 2/5 holdem "must move" game.

Foxwoods (especially during the day) has more than it's share of passive, nitty, OMCs playing 1/2 holdem. After all these years of inflation you would think 1/3 would be the small game. I wish they would promote the heck out of 1/3 holdem getting enough 1/2 holdem game players to move over and get used to it and then eliminate the 1/2. After all an open limp in a 1/3 cost about the same compared to a small order of McDonalds fries these days as an open limp in a 1/2 cost in McD fries a few years ago.

The only solution would be to eliminate $1-2 NL and have $1-3NL be the smallest game available in the room. The regs aren't going to move up willingly unless they have no other choice.

The series isn't on their site anymore. Did they cancel it?

You're right it looks like they did cancel it. I wish they'd run a friday night tourney like back in the day and a survivor tourney made sense since it wouldn't tie the dealers up all night since it's over once it hits the money

Good news: they are doing a 2 day tournament with multiple days 1s
Bad news: every single flight and the day 2 are all on weekdays

$600 entry
Day 1s July 22-25. Day 2 July 25
