Traditionally free rooms dry up a bit in the summer

If you're on the lower end of the free room totem pole there's a good chance you'll lose them in the summer months because there are more people to pay actual money for those rooms who want to go there for the outdoor pool, nearby beaches, Mystic Ct, and other things in the area to do on a summer vacation.

It's possible they cut you off for that reason. Or it's a glitch. Won't hurt to call them to find out. Or you have 5 reservations booked right now?

Nope, had 5 reservations booked which is why I didn't book the June offers. When my reservations ended I went to book more and they had all disappeared. I've been playing long sessions so I didn't think that was the issue. I called but the woman I spoke to wasn't able to provide any information. Perhaps I can speak to a casino host on the property.

FWIW, I have no other offers. Free shows, etc.

So somthing odd. I haven’t been to FW since November. didnt get enough points by April to stay gold. Yet my status is still gold. And expires in October. How can that be? Lol

Do you remember how close you were? They often give free bumps to people who are close. Since they changed the criteria for all the tiers this period I think they were generous in this regard.

The might of just grandfathered you into gold status. That happen for me for the last 3 years without every getting the 400 tier points to keep gold. I finally lost gold this year and returned to level 1 wonder status.

The fox theatre is great.. probably the nicest thing at fw for anyone that’s never been. Saw ‘Styx’ Saturday and had a blast.

I'm planning to run roughly $2,000 through a slot or video poker machine on the next 4x tier credit day.

I'm assuming this will trigger free bets and free slot play in the future. Any idea what I can expect to receive?

Is this accurate?

So, on 4x tier credit days I'll receive 4 tier points per $30 or $7.50 a tier point?

That's very inaccurate. On slots it's $200 to earn 4 tier credits, VP is $400. So on that day you'd get 16 credits per.

Pretty clear that Foxwoods poker is dead. Past two weekends have been absolute ghost towns with a 350K BBJ I expected it to be packed but wow.. No tournament series in over 3 years now. Was told that the poker room was gonna be moved to a new central location and now told that got the ax.. are they just letting it slowly die so they have an excuse to ditch it forever? Its really sad I loved this place. RIP

I come up from NY several times a year. Stay for a week, so see the action throughout the week. Been making these trips for years. Have to say it’s as quiet as it has ever been. Sad.
