Game runs most days; usually full of cautious players (both old and young), with some notable exceptions; always with kill.

Last night was somewhat busier than a normal Monday night, I suppose because this is a holiday/vacation week. Games got noticeably better after about 9 PM.

I went down Saturday night, and while the Poker room wasn't as busy as you would think it would be, the Casino itself was an absolute ghosttown. Same thing today; My inlaws called me and said that there is nobody there.

The Casino Bill finally passed through today and was signed by Patrick. I know that I will not be going down to Connecticut anymore once there is a legal poker room closer to me, as will many others.

Very dark days are coming for FW and MH in the very near future.

once there are MA casinos Foxwoods is going to have to go above and beyond to get me down there. could be a good thing

Fun 8 hrs of poker at foxwoods, went to 1/2 to start to maybe try to win a buyin for 2/5 then go there and be freerolling, some clown was there opening for $40 every other hand which is great obviously , i wasnt ever leaving that table until he left(even for the bathroom) . I played there and when he left i was up 700 bucks and was real happy. RIght after he left the game completely died down and was broke pretty much so i headed off to play 2/5 for almost 5 hrs.

Started with the $500 and i was on the nuttiest table ever, like everyhand was 35/40 pre with 3 or 4 callers, constant rebuying and just full of action. I was dealt AJdd and put in 45 on button after a few limpers and the BB who i had LOTS of history with made it 115(he had over 3k, i had like 2260) We were showing each other lots of bluffs thruout the night and he was good. I decided to flat call:

Flop is a beauty: AJ3 with the 3 of diamonds, he only bet 100 and it made me scratch my head and think and i thought theres a chance he might have a set here or just be making a feeler bet. I made it $333 to go with the intention on FOLDING the flop if he came over the top, even for a minraise, because hes the type of player who been overshoving all his made hands, nutfullhouse, he will shove 500 into 250 and so on and show the nuts, so hes the type if he went allin for 2200 over my 333 bet hes got a MONSTER. Anyway after i put the $333 in he thought about it and CALLED!

Turn is great! its the 6 of diamonds: I'm thinking bing0o0o0o at 1st and was expecting a check ... i held top 2 and the nutflush draw, he leads out into me for $450 and at this point im thinking"omgggg this mo fo got a set of aces on me" then i started to think that he probably wouldve checkshoved a set of AA or JJ so i decided that he held a hand like KQ of diamonds or AK. I then shoved allin for another 1100 and change. Action got back onto him and he thought about it foreverrrrrrr and i mean foreverrrrrr. He was holding his cards sideways... double tapping the table, just doing all the signs like he was gonna fold and i truely think he was about to and as he was doing that i came to the conclusion that I obviously have the best hand by a MILE. So i spokeup and said"hey man, AK is an easy fold now just get away, give the fish credit and let him win a pot(jokingly as we were all night talking about myself)

He then said"i think you got diamonds, or we have the same hand, i gotta call ya" Then he rolls over his AKcc and welllllll what do you know, the king of spades hits the river. The non diamond king hits the river and im left twiddling my thumbs. FML lol and ty for all who read, i just needed to write to blowoff some steam, probably taking a break until the megastackers in early december. gl all!

that is pretty ****ing disgusting if it really was a 900bb pot. i'd prob snap get up and turbo sprint to car to leave if that happened to me live.

Honestly, the game is sometimes really really good and sometimes it's super nitty. In the early morning it's pretty nitty IMO but by the early afternoon the game opens up and its very good. Depending on the lineup though I'd rather play the 15/30 OE. Sometimes the OE is great, but if it's filled with the regs who like to go for "walks" every time the game switches it's terrible. I think it's less of a problem when the game changes every 10 hands as opposed to downs.

ya they changed my points to bonus slot play but they upped it from 10 to 15 a week. i guess i should stop playing slots to see if they switch to the points lol

Ya that's why. You're in the system as a slot player now. It might take a few months before they switch you back.

all i can tell u is that it's full of friendly people 4 the most part, lots of chatter and people like 2 have a good time.

it's very easy 2 beat if u stay patient, although it can be frustrating 2 lose 2 those clowns.

Finally got free rooms!!! Haven't played poker in 2 months and cash in about 3 months. So weird and they upped my weekly points to 30 points from 10.

Got them for December and january. When I was playing full time I never got them, I take a small break now I get them. Weird.

I don't think it has much to do with playing not as much as u used to. I still give foxy 20+ hrs a week and I got dec and jan rooms. Just a slow time for them I think.

Got 2 free rooms/week for December, but they all apparently snap-sold out. $69 for a Directors Suite at MGM or $79 for a Corner Suite at Pequot looks good, though.
