I should....but that would take away the fun! LOL

ok ok.....

I went over for an hour for the 1st time since they re-opened...

Letters have not been sent yet but I spoke with a Cage Supervisor and this is what I was told....

You MUST call ahead and set up an appointment to get to your SD box. No getting it on the weekend. Security will walk you over.

Once you get your stuff, you will be told that you MUST close it! You get back the $50 deposit and you are NOT guaranteed a box whenever Rainmaker Casino reopens.

If you do not get to your box by "x-date", your box will be drilled and the contents sent to Lost and Found......which I personally think it's BS.

I agree. Are we led to believe that the woman drove away from Twin River, pulled over then waited for a bus, only to jump in front of it. Then again, perhaps she was operating under the assumption that the pedestrian always has the right of way and she could recoup her losses by bringing suit against the bus driver and the company that owned the bus.

I hate spreading rumors but an MGM dealer who worked at Foxwoods (he's my neighbor now) told me he's hearing that FW won't be opening the poker until all restrictions are lifted, probably next year. They won't open it with short handed limits or with plexiglass everywhere.
Hopefully someone's just feeding him bad info, but he does still know everyone down there.

Foxwoods has told the employees that they haven’t called back to work that they are keeping their status the same until Nov 30th. What that means is they are technically laid off and not receiving benefits but if they get called back before Nov 30th they will get all their vac and sick time back that they had on the books.

I still have many friends that work there and those that haven’t been called back are high paid management and floor positions. There’s a good chance they are gonna try and piece together the summer with as little staff as possible and try to drag it out past November. They have to pay vac time but they could avoid paying out many people’s sick time and could also trim the fat and hire a bunch of people back part time no benefits in a Dec because the know people will need work. It’s shady as hell but it’s something they are most likely looking at.

No not at all.
The story says Juanito was a supervisor at Foxwoods Resort Casino, Rhode Island.

That IS what is wrong with this story.

I got an email for July offers. I clicked over and it's just bonus points and a reusable bag giveaway. I didn't have any room offers.

Not that I expected any, or had any ability to take advantage of them (or cared to since I only play poker) but I figured I would let the group know.

The room offers are scaled WAY back right now. Remember the "V" ratings I broke down like a year ago? Well knock them down a few pegs. I know someone who has V3A room offers, which would normally be any hotel Sun-Sat (or maybe not Pequot Saturday, but anyways), but they are just Sun-Thur, no weekends. Until they open the other hotels up it's going to remain this way.

Received an email today that on July 3 the Great Cedar is opening. As they inch closer to the poker room does anyone know if the Rainmaker is next in line to open?
