I called and gave them the offer # and I was told I wasn’t on the list. I tried for a couple of weeks to get in touch with the list makers and their voicemail boxes were always full. I went in person and was told that they would add me to the list and yeah. *******s

I wear colorblindness-corrective glasses (which I talk about often at the table) that make certain colors really pop. They help me out a little with the red and green chips, but lately the glow on the red felt has really been tough. I'm thankful there hasn't been any talk of four-colored decks. I got that email too but for a different amount. Whoop if that's how little you get for points then maybe you didnt get it. Or maybe it's also based on when last visit was, it's been a while for me. I got it Sunday it's titled "we've missed you at foxwoods"

It can't be based on when my last visit was, because golf has been taking me close to that area and I've been stopping by at an unusually high clip for me.

I played topgolf in miami yesterday. A real range is waaaaay better than the simulators like foxwoods has.

After going to Encore for first time today there is literally zero reason to go to FW. LOL rip. Twin river for sports betting and encore for everything else.

Depends. Last month, Foxwoods returned 92.39% of the money wagered in its slot machines while Mohegan returned 91.83%. Red felt aside, Foxwoods also has the friendliest blackjack, at least during the week and last I saw (late August). Every single table was 3:2 with all 6:5 tables inactive. Minimums started at $10.

Photo: Entire non-smoking section was 6:5 and inactive.

Photo: Live music on a Thursday (although Mohegan's Wolf Den has that too).

Interesting. I thought the return was in the mid 80's. Does Encore report their slot return percentage ? Wifey is convinced that Foxwoods/Mohegan slots pay better.

Generally speaking, when talking odds of different games/table games, slots are assumed around 90%. Mid-80s would be horrible. In Massachusetts, the Commission restricts slot payouts to an 80% minimum, but other places could be as low as 75%. Mid-80s is not impossible, only improbable (I suspect those slots at LAS would be towards these low ends).

Having said that, here're the juicy tidbits you can share with your wifey. Last month, Encore made a huge push for slots with their free credit promos and everything.

There is a casino in Biloxi with mini golf. Unfortunately, they closed the poker room. But mini golf still open.

Know what else scares customers away. The parking situation! It can be hard to find a spot on a Saturday night when they got 25% of Pequot garage blocked off.
