150-300 H.O. currently running 6 people on the list? Is Johnny Chan and Mike McDermott there or something?

Any idea why Bravo shows no games running? It has lists but no games. I'm assuming it is a glitch, but was checking to make sure the room didn't randomly shut down for some reason.

So you're a Diamond and aren't getting the 3X Tier or the Double Rewards days? If so I would talk to a host. Maybe you do have the offer but you're just not getting the emails. I know I wasn't offered the Double Reward points.

I have nearly 300 points on my Foxwoods Casino Membership card, but due to constant losses, I can't see me frequenting that place that much anymore.

I know I can use points to buy food (unfortunately I can't buy Starbucks gift cards or anything like that). Does anyone know if points can be used at Tanger Outlets? I'm assuming it's a definite "no", but does anyone here know?

If not, and I am ready to leave the casino forever, should I just use the points to buy nearly 300 worth of non-perishable food?

Yes, specific stores in the outlets take the points 1:1. There are signs on the door or ask. I have used many points on clothing, gifts, etc. especially during sales or with coupons.

The tanger outlets menu on the foxwoods website has a list of stores that take points. If you like craft beer, you can get growlers and 6 packs at Stony Creek Brewery with your points @ 1:1. You can grab Home Depot gift cards $100 for 125 pts or $50 for 67.5 pts. Most cash for gold/pawn shops give 80-90 cents on the dollar for Home Depot cards if you want cash.

I use my points to buy gas cards at Winners located near Panera Bread. Cost for a $100 card is 125 points as stated by Lordkjun. The store has many different kinds of gift cards besides the gas cards. You might go to Winners to browse through the cards to see if there are any that you might want to buy with points.

What was going on there yesterday? I looked on Bravo around 330pm and there were about 35 games going. But they had 59 people waiting for 1-2, 44 for 2-5, 36 for 1-3 stud. We’re they not prepared for a HH day?

This had nothing to do with a HH/Random Riches jackpot day. They had 427 total entries for the 11am $500k tourney upstairs and another 118 for the 5pm turbo flight and simply do not have enough dealers to handle such volume as it is a rare occurrence.

I know it's been said before, but I can't see how this place survives the opening of Encore. They had only had about 15 tables going. It took two hours to get a seat as all the dealers were dealing a tourney. The lists were very long. 15+ on each list long.

There were at least four other people at each of the three tables I sat at that mentioned when Enciore opens they'll never be back. I know I won't.

Time will tell I guess.

Anyone know how many entries the first 2 flights of the $400, 200K guarantee got today?
I'm firing a bullet or two on Saturday.

So too many players to survive? Interesting thesis.

:-)

LOL @ “interesting thesis” comment above.

The issue on this particular day was similar to what other poker rooms have experienced in the past when new large room is opening. Once the new casino hires dealers they will have onboarding days scheduled which leaves the existing rooms very short on dealers.

50 players standing around ready to play 1/2 and 2/5 all waiting an hour or so for a seat and they call a 5/10 Omaha hl game and we all watch them struggle to get the game off as six nits whine over playing short.

Lolololol foxwoods management.
