It advertises itself as the Largest Poker Room on the East Coast. But it's hard to read more than 3 words.

Foxwoods hasn't been the biggest casino overall for over a decade. Venetian Macao is bigger.

I believe Foxwoods, at least on the east coast, can claim 'the wonder of all the dead space"

Scrolling thru Bravo and looked up at Foxwoods. 9:30pm on a Saturday evening and only 15 active games? What is happening to this place?

Why do people keep calling 1 inch of snow followed by 50 degree weather, a snowstorm?

Well most of MA is supposed to get at least 6" with sleet and freezing rain mixed in. But I forgot that only your little corner of the world is all that matters.

It’s no longer a rumor.

So I have it on very good authority that everyone will be receiving an email, asking you to vote on an increase in rake. They want to take $2 for promos making the total rake a max of $7.
Unbelievable

I don’t get it.
Not only is a sinking ship, they’re trying to make it sink faster!

I think it's pretty clear that they don't care or want a poker room. They keep it to keep the casino rating. So downsize, increase rake, reduce player pool, win for FW and replace space with something else.

What a ****ing joke. Unfortunately if other rooms start doing that, the game is over.

What if a Texas Hold'em tournament paid out 20% of the field. When 20% field left game over everyone gets equal amounts. Example 60 players buy-in 300 (257+3+40). 12 players is 20%, payout is $1285 each.

Would you play this tournament?

Promos = offsetting the cost of a new poker room. Are players expected to bring their own tools too?

Isn't this the same take that Chasers has. Everyone seems to love Chaser's, but once a rumor of Foxwoods matching the same rake, sentiment is way different.

Poker players.

FYP. Nothing unique to poker players, it's just basic human psychology.
