I'm a more casual player than most people who post here, but I'm in exactly the same boat. I hardly play anything except poker, but most of my friends with any interest in the casino dabble at poker along with playing blackjack, roulette, etc. We tried out Twin River, but didn't really like it all that much, and the logistics of going to RI aren't really much different than going to CT. Any time we go to a casino, we're already making a bit of a trip down from the Boston area, so it's trivial to keep driving a little longer to get to Foxwoods/Mohegan.
Needless to say, the incentives at the CT casinos aren't much of an enticement, especially after the recent changes. After the Wynn opens I doubt we'll ever come back to Foxwoods.
