Anyone notice an increase in traffic this weak? Usually I am comped fox tower rooms but this time I was only able to get two trees, and I had to pay for a day T_T. I'm on spring break so my theory is the comp rooms are being gobbled up by other students like me.

That and there's a toruament series going on. Also march as a whole is a busy month due to people getting their tax refunds.

Found out today that Two Trees is now NON-smoking effective 3-16. The ONLY smoking rooms are if you get a suite. Good or bad?

On May 19 the $580 NLH WSOPC event is taking place. The guarantee is $75k, which would be met by a mere 150 entrees. He is saying the guarantee is way too small. Also 500 dollars sng bring it on

FW was afraid that they might not be able to cover a 500k guarantee...

I wondered from the poker room down to Fox Tower casino yesterday and happened to see that a tattoo parlor is opening in the space that was occupied by the Apple Store (Mac Appeal). Is it just me or is this an odd addition to the retail line up in Fox Tower... not that it matters as I dont think that any store thats ever been in Fox Tower/MGM has ever done any significant amount of business and it will likely get worse for those stores after the outlet mall opens. I can just see all the drunk 21yr olds leaving shrine and heading over to get some new ink only to wake up the next morning with a hangover and a new tattoo and wondering where the hell it came from Honestly though, a tattoo parlor??? Really???

It won't be open past 10pm.

lots of screens missing all red/ blue shading. I don't think you could go into actual tree house. Good value though, ended up getting bored blowing through 20 bucks so i converted to tickets by playing high stakes lets make a deal and got a chinese medicine balls

Doesnt matter if its open 24/7 it wont do any business... might be the stupidest thing they could put in there. Other than the drunk 20 somethings coming out of Shrine the demographic at Foxwoods is your 50-70yr old bus riding penny slot player (maybe not quite that bad but you can get my point). I dont think they did their home work when evaluating their business plan. I dont see many baby boomers that are most of the casino customers (unless its well after 10pm) getting any ink any time soon, especially when they are out for a day of buffets and slots.

I think you'll be surprised. There are tattoo parlors in this area that book appointments sometimes months in advance. Assuming that people will be able to pay with points I think it could be a good idea. Here was an article in Hartford courant recently
