Was thinking about playing the PLO tourney in Novemeber. Has FW ever run a PLO tourney? I can't remember ever seeing this offered before.

Looked at the structure sheet and was wondering why they would have antes in a PL game?

Thoughts?

The BBJ amount is updated on the Foxwoods website ($39418 FTR). Also there are the rules and guidelines regarding the BBJ. This stuck out to me:

"8. For each $1 collected, 60% will be added into the primary jackpot, 35% into the secondary jackpot, and the remaining 5% will be used towards general maintenance and marketing of the promotion."

WTF is the secondary jackpot? Is that the seeding of the next jackpot once the current one gets hit? Nowhere does it mention a secondary jackpot other than that 1 point.

Been goin to foxwoods for about two years now, my favorite poker room by far. I only play 1/2, def not confident enough in my game to step up to the 2-5 (it's full of regs anyway). Im sure I could kill the 1/2 there if I just played smart and stopped trying to be fancy. I love all the 1/2 regs, they all play the same. I swear they only raise AK AA KK QQ JJ, and limp/call with smaller pocket pairs. They sit there and fold for 40 hours a week I dont see how these guys make any money at this game. I very rarely see any of these guys with decent stacks in front of them, but I dont go that much so Im probably wrong. Anyways, been browsing the forums more often recently, hope to see some of you at the woods!

Secondary jackpot is what they will start with after the primary one has been hit.

2/5 is even easier imo...same predictable play, just more $$ on the table! And the regs are some of the easiest to pick off.

When are you usually playing? I'll be there a lot on T's/W's/Thr's from now on.

We had a fun, action packed 8-16 HOE game going last night. Some of you should give it a try, maybe we can make it a regular game.

For some reason thats the case with many others also... You guys should man up and try to play all the games well.

It's not even a matter of being good at it or not for me. I simply dislike LHE.

I know, I'm just busting em a little... Why is it that the H/L split guys don't like LH so much? I must be one of a rare group that likes all the games.

I don't like limit high community games, such as LHE or LO. But I'll play LO8 or Stud8 or even Stud Hi.

I think NLHE killed limit for me. I get bored too quickly. But H/L split games add enough extra dynamic to hold my interest. As far as Stud Hi, that's the game I played for the first few years I started playing there, so it could just be nostalgia.

So who ITT is a reg at 1-2 thru midweek? I'm gonna be there like every Tues night thru Wed early AM, then do Wed afternoon-nights, and Thursday all day. Gonna work on crushing thru those hours, esp when it gets short-handed late Tues night (maybe get some HU!).
