I think we get comped pretty well tbh. The causual player wont get anything, but regs do. But thats how it is for other parts of the casino as well.

I've logged over 900 hours in the last 12 months...I don't fall into the casual category. I still get free rooms. I'm just talking in regards to these type of promos.

I'm looking to go to fox woods about once a week and play 1/2NL for about 10 hours would this get me any deals on rooms? I would love to go more but 180$ for a room is a bit pricey.. any info would be helpful thank you!

No one knows. There's no rhyme or reason to the free room offers that we know of. Less likely for summer months.

that might be enough to trigger room offers but not during the summer months. You likely would start getting offers of $99 mid week rooms and then in Nov/Dec you might start getting free offers.

I am assuming you do not need 50 points in a day but can earn 5 points for 10 days straight and qualify for the $100 gift card.

It does seem that way but that doesn't sound like them. I wouldn't assume that's what it means, nor would I assume that poker points count. I would ask to make sure.

Ok, I just called and they confirmed the points are cumulative so you can earn 10, 25, and 15 points over 3 different days and get the $100 gift card.

I was told for any event that says to earn 10/15/25 etc. points (Such as this event or the recent watch giveaway) that poker will not count.

For those events that say earn 1 point to get your free random cheap item, I was told poker "may or may not" count and to read the details.

Unfortunately I didn't get the sense that the person was 100% confident in her answer about the 1 point qualifying promotions.

I didn't think to ask about "other" games besides poker (Like racebook or keno bets)

I don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling about the answer so I plan to follow up again in person right before the promotion starts.

In related news, I find it odd that The Showboat is one of the smaller rooms in New England yet they have a dedicated 2+2 rep to discuss the room and promotions...

They were correct about the "1 qualifying point" promotions - some say poker counts, some say it doesn't. And poker, keno, racebook, and bingo are always lumped together for exclusions.

Meh. So I guess it doesn't really matter if it's 50-in-a-day or cumulative then, if they have to be earned from tables or machines.

Curious what you find out so please follow up. I don't hate the promo, I'll take a $100 gift card, I mind it if we're excluded though.

Because I'm bored at work I called again and confirmed:

1) Poker does not count towards the promotion (Slots and table games only)
2) Required points are cumulative over those days

Unfortunately when I asked how I can verify my progress and distinguish between qualifying and non-qualifying points during the promotion, I was told there is no way to do it myself and I would have to check with a host...

That's true, unless you just kept track of it yourself which should be easy enough.
