I played the 300 survivor and there were 150 runners. The 120 last night had 162, I think.

Cool thanks, Im thinking of taking a crack at the H.O.S.E but i've never played a live hand of O or E ever lol so that could turn out badly! Would be fun though and only 300 bucks...

anyone know who to talk to about changing the structure of games?

the past 2 saturdays ive gotten a 1/2 PLO game going which the floor has been very helpfull with getting it going etc.

but they dont really seem to have a clue as to how the game should be set up and dont even have a card for it. They just use the 1/2 PLO8 card with tape over the 8 part lol.

IMO the buy in should be 100-500 for this game not the standard 60-300 who can I talk to regarding this? I would love to see this game go on the regular but have gotten coments from some thats its too small/not enough play given max BI.

Does anyone know how long the $300 survivor tournament lasted until last night?? I'm thinking on heading down for tomorrow's tournament.

The 300 was down to the final two tables around 7ish. I think there were 18 left with several short stacks. I told one of the big stacks at one of the tables to go have a nap in his car and come back in a bit to collect his 3K. There were several huge stacks that were not sitting, got up and walked away. Smart IMO.

They all run on weekends with 1-3 tables. On weekdays:

20/40 will run every day at least one table usually 2.

10/20 runs 80% of the time, often breaks from 11pm - later.

5/10 is the same but usually competes with 10/20 for the dwindling pool of limit players. Late at night is usually an either/or choice.

40/80 is running around 3 days per week. Some of their players may be in Vegas now.

5/10 has been hurting latley, but gets at least one table on the weekends

10/20 Is spread almost everyday and can get upto 3 tables on the weekend

20/40 Always has one table and usually 2 on the weekdays can have up to 5 on the weekend

40/80 Goes every Tuesday and usually has a game going on the weekends. Sometimes gets a shorthanded must move

Yea I cashed in the $120. Had 100k in chips when there were 90 people left. Very boring, but nice to win $880.

I'm heading down tomorrow, although I'm thinking of switching it up and trying Mohegan instead. I hear its a little more fishy on the weeknights than foxwoods...Anyone making the trip?

How many runners you think for the H.O.S.E tomorrow?

I have a good feeling that you will still recognize most of the table.

anyone know if FW has ever spread a 1/2 or 2/5 PLO/NLH game? Ive played in this at the borg and it was a pretty big hit. They changed the game at each dealer change. Would FW spread this? or is there any interest of any one here in that game at the 1/2-2/5 level?

Is customer service still poor there? Dealers, cashiers, floor people were all rude last time I was there.

On the whole I think they are very professional and they don't kiss rear-ends. The few that don't speak English well I don't blame.

During WPT in November I got a 5/10 PLO/NLH...game rotated every dealer change....played for like 6 hrs., had a great time.

well, I just got back from Foxwoods, and man am I glad I played the H.O.S.E. I managed to cash in the top 6 for $3,000 , with 7th getting $507.

72 Entrants

11am start - ~9pm finish

Anyone else play? Sick last hand where a guy scooped to take out 2 shortstacks, we didnt even play 1 final tbl hand.

Hey Vestron, congrats....I played, I busted it out well before you though lol....id say maybe mid pack-like 38th or something.....I decided to have a go at it even though I'd never played a live hand of Stud 8 or Ohmaha 8 in my life. The ohmaha round wasn't my issue, I actually did really well in the HO portion but the stud games, well yeah let's just say, nottt thattt great lol.....especially in the Stud 8, a couple times I had A doorcard with a deuce in teh whole then somehow i'd never end up even getting a low, and then hoping my two pair would hold for the high which it never did, I had a lot of fun though....not even sure if that statement in itself makes any sense lol.....I was trying to read the super system chapters as a crash course on the way up, but you know, 95 is dangerous .....it's nice to play something other then straight hold em for a bit...but anyway congrats on your prize
