You can try booking on Jan 1st and they'll appear to be sold out already. They block off every single room.

Did you try calling reservations or just look online? I had no trouble getting a room comped at MGM for NYE when I called in yesterday.

Just got home from a nice little stay at the woods. Cashed in both deepstacks on Monday and Tuesday. The structures in these tournaments are so bad late. I got 12th in the $230 on Monday and 5th in the $120 Tuesday for a decent cash. I was wearing a Rodney Harrison jersey so if I played with any of u let me know and we can meet up next time!

Thanks didn't know about this ... I only have like ~170 points so prolly would not have gotten comp'd anyways

Yeah it hit around 2am Thursday Morning. Quad Kings lost to a straight flush to the King. What's funny is I was asking the winner of the hand about it and he said that if the guy with KK didn't horribly misplay his hand, then the BBJ would have never gotten there.

Hand was 3bet to the guy with KK and he just flatted OTB (or some seat with position) and then orig bettor hung in getting decent odds with a suited Q.
