Limey hold'em tables are ten handed.

Best of luck.

I doubt it, but does the WSOP have any noticeable affect on poker at FW during late May/June?

Gonna be there 5/25-28.

There was an 8-16 HORSE running today.

For those interested, as of this week, FW has apparently decided NOT to start using the Bet Line as an actual bet line (as was reportedly under consideration), and rather to continue with the current "Forward Motion of Chips Beyond Cards" rule (but still with player's intent subject to interpretation by Dealer).
I was in a 1-2NL hand a few nights ago in which a player counted out a few hundred $ in chips in front of his cards, and then announced only a $30 bet. I accepted this and called the $30 (his intent was clear to me), but later informed him that I could have called (or raised against) the bigger amount, and dealer agreed. The other player was surprised to learn this.
Again, I don't have a strong preference for either rule, but the presence of the printed Bet Line on the table does cause some confusion and does allow for some angle-shooting.

Yup - I think if the bet-line is there, the bet-line should be used. Not a huge deal if you know the rule (I don't care either way), but the idea is to make everything as clear as possible for anyone/everyone playing, right?

I haven't played here as much as others, maybe a hundred times or so the last two years but I've rarely seen someone use the chips in front of the cards on someone and generally it's been some d-bag calling it on some new player who doesn't know better.

It just never made sense to have a betting line on the table and never have it in play or to have different floor managers give different interpretations of whether the betting line is in use or not.

I think the line was initially put in place to assist the dealers in reaching chips. They should take the "bet Line" wording off the felt there. Just have a solid black line. I know it seams like a minuscule thing but I think it would clear up some confusion.

Anyone going to be around during the week. Also are the 1/2 games particularly juicer at certain times or days during the weak? have gone there a few times but still haven't really gone to much during the week.

Crispee, I been saying this for years. It doesn't make sense that it's still written there.

I dipped my toe in the 1-5 stud game on Sat night and doubled my money, which is great for me as I've never played stud live. Also, I was often the only female. Not a lot of drinking but still pretty transparent and easy to exploit. Many people watching the game on TV while in hands. I'll probably just start at the 5-10 stud game next time (famous last words lol). I wont be back until memorial day tho.

Ha ha. 1-2NL was my 2nd choice, but then I remembered that I suck at it. I like how they give you actual tanqueray rather than gilbey's or some other seizure-inducing gin in the FW g&t's..not that I drink at the table. I'm the mopey brunette under 40, cry-calling. Say hello

If so what are the buy-in amounts (roughly).

Thank you.

Not unless you look (or act) like you're 12.

You probably won't be carded, but if you are, wouldn't even an expired license establish your age?

Yes, it will be a problem if you play tournaments. Cash games, no. Tournaments that you place in require you bring a ticket to the cage to get your winnings. You need a valid (current) drivers license.

And they dont have a sportsbook!
