Thank you for the info, I am actually curious to know if I have interacted with anyone, played with anyone or know anyone here... I feel completely out of the loop now... I was hoping to figure out ROI lifetime and breakdown exactly what dailies have been most profitable for me so i can focus more on my bottom line and not just guess... I know I have won or chopped upwards of 30 120-230 buy ins in the past few years, not so much on the lower ones but I kinda just wanted to compile the info... my two biggest downfalls have been BR management and record keeping, but now I'm attempting to treat it more like a business... any advice?

Ya I have met a lot of great people at foxwoods. A lot of times its funny though cause people often call out the other players to me. Last time I was there this kid was berating this old to me. "That old guy I am gonna bust him." Its just so funny how mad some people get.

And this drunk dude who was really cool lost a big pot to a flopped straight (guy had k9) and the whole night he is telling me "K9 man.."

I think the funniest moment so far at fw for me was when the drunk dude from above goes "5 dollars I can make this bottle into the trash." I agree. Dude launched this bottle so far, bounces it off the wall and into the trash. I gave him the chip was laughing so hard.

Any thoughts on how busy the room will be Wednesday night? Or even Thursday night?

NEVER wait for the email. By the time you get it most of the free rooms are already taken. Always check the website. Mine showed up a month ago and I still haven't gotten an email.

Ya don't wait most of the time you have them anyways just call up and set a date you'll usually have it.

Army. Is this a level? Are you saying when you have AA you'll show the Guy your hand and hope he folds with KK??????

I hope this is a level

He's right that it could be +EV to show it to try to get KK to fold. It depends on the pot size and how much they each have left.

In the example given, if they ship it in, the pot is $1k, and his EV is $800 (rounding AA vs KK to be 80/20). If he can get KK to fold here, he'll have $825. So in this case, yes it's actually better for him if he gets KK to lay down.

No your bloating the emphasis on ev

With out doin math knowing lets say there are no blockers is 81% to win

With one blocker hes 82% to 17

And with two blockers its 83%

Maybe if I'm scared money ill take the sure bet be wont hit his two outer...but I mean come on

With this logic you should be showing your opponent every hand when your ahead with enough money in the pots. Sounds rediculous

Run this hand 1000 times its an extra 100000$ doing simple math on top of the pot....like I said your losing money

You can't just look at what you immediately win 100% of the time. You have to actually put the % to work in the long run and see how +ev or -ev it is.

In this case and every case your losing money by giving that money up.

Is today (day before thanksgiving) usually busy or dead? I was thinking of making the drive, but not if it's going to be deserted.

Thanks.

I just left the poker room. 4 2/5 tables 1 5/10 table and 20+ 1/2 tables running. I think you should be able to find whatever action your looking for.

This weekend should be GREAT!

anybody dealing with this particular dude, he is tall and thin, chin strap beard, saw him monday wearing a san fran giants hoodie. Wouldn't stop talking to me and the table about satan and the 72 dolphins. Went on for over 3 hours on the same thing. Dealers seemed to know him well and some seemed very nervous around him. Not bad mouthing the guy but just seems like the woods are getting more and more interesting characters.

I've had the misfortune to sit at the table with that guy a couple of weeks ago. And I agree with Ziddy in that he plays pretty bad and he is VERY annoying. I just turned up the volume on my headphones and that fixed the problem.

I was at a 1-2 NL table when he transferred over from another table after having his pocket aces beaten by crap.

He wouldn't shut up for next 2 hours about it. had to tell every new player/dealer his story. AHHHHHHHH
Now I see him around and he's always talking.

Also saw him walking towards the mohegan Sun poker room a few days ago

I bet the dealers love to hear bad beat stories about pocket aces getting cracked, nothing I can think of more that I would want to hear right as I sit down at a new table.

I'm guessing this thread hasn't been bumped for a couple days because everyone's down at Foxwoods this weekend

I did the $120 last night, and we got 255 people. I doubt that's the most ever for a $120, but that's the most I've personally seen. Guess it's safe to say Thanksgiving IS Foxwood's busiest time of the year. If you still haven't gotten in on the action, today's your last day!

Oh, and if any of you is the guy who had his girlfriend all over him during the $120 last night (you know who you are): Please keep it in your hotel room, thanks. Our table was creeped out by you two.
