Will be down there Mon doing a coaching session for someone. Will probably stay over a night or two and play mostly 5/10. Not sure if anybody will be around or anybody else playing some 5/10. I'd like to get some PLO going also.

My name is Jose, I have very short hair and I am extremely good looking. =) Come over and say hi. Please don't come over to tell me a bad beat story, I hear too many of them as it is. I love to talk strategy though.
if this is the jose that put that beat on mike last week w/ 95 or something then please move back down to 2/5 immediately....you are actually decent

Hey, lol... not all us dealers mess up while dealing simply because someone is talking to us. Most of the time I mess up for ten to twelve other perfectly good reasons.

what can i expect moving from 1/2nlhe to 2/5?

i'm thinking about it- my last two sessions have been plagued by river chasers and suckouts-

is it the same game/players just more money? or are raises/ tag play usually respected-

of course youll find people going against the norm at every level and theres no prob with that...i'm just seeing too many $10-$15 preflop calls for my liking at 1/2

should i just stick to tourney/sng

move up to where they respect your raises.

I like your post though flys in the face of those on here in this and the MS thread crying about how 1/2 games are full of TAGs and such.

I mean its not just me- i saw alot in a these last couple of sessions...people going up crazy then down just as quick...mucking losers 90% of the time cause they were embarrassed to show what they were chasing etc

again i understand its part of the game and you can catch these people if your patient...i just want to play a better quality game-

at these stakes i play for the love- i'm not gonna go broke nor get rich

i guess my question is just a generalization but does the quality get better as you move up or is it the same game just more money changing hands -

Absolutely! If you have trouble at 1/2, 2/5 is definitely not the answer.
No matter what anyone else tells you, 2/5 is generally much, much tougher than 1/2.

i'm prob not phrasing it right...i'm up overall- i'm not having "trouble"

what do you mean by "tougher" if your saying skill wise thats what I am looking for...if i wanted to just put my money in and pray i'd stay upstairs on the slots

yes 2/5 is what your looking for. Imo and others, it's where the "best" nl is being played.

wat?

actually this is somewhat of a trick question bc i hardly see ANY limit where good nl is being played.
