Last fall FW started treating the words "satellite" and "Sit and go" as synonyms. Maybe they assume the tournament players always use their winnings to buy into more tournaments.

It's not just you. Although I think the politically correct term is "transgendered."

I think she is the same person who wrote the book, "Why Feminists Are Wrong: How Transsexuals Prove Gender is not a Social Construction."

Serious question for the TD's out there: How would you handle a situation where a transgendered / transsexual person was entered into a women's tournament?

A better question is how to you handle it when a man enters a WSOP Womens event dressed in drag? Historically they have been allowed to play, this has happened before - here is an example.

Generally there are no hard rules, the tournament must comply with anti-discrimination laws nationally and locally (in the USA at least) therefore a firm answer cannot be given to your question as posed.

Ah that sucks. Basically there were a bunch of older guys who sat down the first day I got it started, and they all preferred to play h/l for whatever reason.

I got it started yesterday and enough younger guys who agreed it should be hi only. Fun times.

Looks like the IOC allows transgenders to compete as the new gender. Of course its still controversial because a man can switch over to female and kick ass. One imagines what the Soviets might have tried.

I will keep putting my name on the interest list and checking to see if it is running hi only. I am there Thu-Sun nights so I am sure I will get into it eventually...is the game extraordinarily good when it runs?

My friend played at the same table in the ladies event with the transgenered person? who went on to come in the top 2-3, maybe even won it. It was openly discussed at the table.

I might be headed up tonight for some 2/5NL or 5/10NL. Games should be pretty good with the tourney in town.

OK, here's a tough (non-poker) question for anyone who frequents the MGM/Foxwoods restaurants:

Best option (for the gf, not for me...) for a dish with no meat, no cheese, no milk?

Shrine has some good options, with things like edamame, cucumber/asparagus sushi rolls, and chinese veggies. Any other suggestions?

Here's an option: get a different girlfriend.

Just kidding man.

Panera Bread has some options for her, they have some good stuff there for non-vegans. Noodle Bar has some non-meat stuff she might like.

Thank God my wife's not a vegan, don't know what I'd do, dated one in college, beautiful girl but miss those steaks. The vegan had no trouble killing spiders or flies which happened to cross her path though.

I'm heading in today, my Irish grandmother (RIP) will be rolling in her grave knowing her grandson is playing during Lent.

I'm finally getting down there again. Every time I've tried the past month or so something has come up. Been having withdrawals. lol

Going to be there tomorrow (Saturday) during the day. Probably from around 8 or 9 until maybe 5. Depending on how I do at the 1/2 NL tables.

Will be wearing a red Victory motorcycle top and maybe a red hoodie with a little white on the sleeve and lower back.

If you see me say hi...

So I went down. Surprised how slow it was. Good times though. Got nothing going early. Sat down at a 1/2 nl game with 80 bux and played tight. Lost a big pot with A T vs. KQ on A K J board. Guy turned a king for trips and I headed to blackjack and got all my money back plus 100 and left cuz my buddy who was driving went busto. Always good to leave up money.

Took a walk over to the sunset ballroom and saw rainkhan, matusow and greenstein. Finally realized it was like watching grass grow and went back to the casino. Played craps next to Victor Ramdin(he must be out of 10k) All in all can't complain came home with 100 more then I went with. I told my girlfriend I won 100 and she asked me "ya but how much did you spend." LOL.
