Did they get a lot of players for that one ????

I was there the last couple of days hoping to win my seat and they did not get any of the 10am and 2pm off at all... And the 6pm only had 1 or 2 tables each of the last 3 nights.....

I was just hoping they had more action going with these Acts....

I'm not sure what the exact numbers are, but I was only going a couple times a month, and I started getting them. You don't need much.

WHAT?!!?!? That's crazy, I wonder if the money will stay in the BBJ? Or will Foxwoods pocket it?

What game was it at?

that girl would be me. They said they were going to disperse the 106k to the other players, but apparently they didn't... so that means that it's going to roll into the next jackpot.

Really? They said if you are gambling underage they box up your chips and you can retrieve them when you turn 21.

Wow, I played a satellite nearby when the hand happened. I came to the table and saw that you was not as happy as the all other players

Later I heard they confiscated all your chips and the dealer even said you may get arrested. Hope you are all right !!!

lolz... state police say to me, "talk about a bad beat." i shouldn't have done what i did IMO... i shoulda just mucked the river and continued playing. i heard some really ****ty comments from some players... funny because i sacrificed SO MUCH so they could experience something that doesn't even happen once in a lifetime. also, it's only one more month until my 21st... sigh.

i did get to keep my chips from the table so yay for at least getting that $1200 profit. but trust me... there will be no boxing up of chips for me. see ya at mohegan.

Tough beat ??? She got what she deserved !! She got caught, paid a fine and cost her huge bankroll. If she was over 21..she could have put a nice down-payment on a house or a new car. Don't get me wrong...making $1200 is good but she shouldn't have been there in the first place.

I was at the table right next to yours when this happened. Really harsh. I kind of knew it when everyone else jumped up screaming and you just sat there with a stone cold look on your face. Someone told you me went to jail, glad you didn't you seem like a nice kid.

Just saying all those guys won $15 or $16K and one guy $212K. None of that would have happen without her there. Was it illegal, ya. But I not talking about CT state statutes. I am referring to poker karma. A lot guys were saying some awful stuff and what comes around goes around. She's a month away from 21 and I feel for her is all. She didn't hurt anyone but herself, but she changed the lives of 9 other people with some nice cash and they should be a little more understanding an not so harsh towards her.

I was there. It was ridiculous. Xbeat, tough hit. However, considering how much you had in front of you, you are bound to be profitable and make that much money in the future. Good luck!

So rough.
How much did you think of mucking? In a sense, you're mucking 100K, but in another sense you knew what was coming so it was 100K down the tubes anyway.

What were some of the jerkoffs you just gave a boatload of money to saying?

Do now wish that you mucked, considering that treatment?

Someone else would have been dealt the exact same hand and would have no doubt played it the exact same way. I agree that saying awful stuff was uncalled for but if you play poker you have to develop the ability to ignore extreme rudeness.

That specific hand? Sure. But every hand she played up to that point? Folded the same way? In the same order (the 2 cards not reversed)? *Anything* different would've caused successive decks to be shuffled differently in the machine. Butterfly effect ldo.

Of course I wish I mucked. I don't know what was said, but security said the poker room was going crazy. My friend was sitting next to me at the table and didn't even give me money, even after i drove both of us home. If I was the guy holding 99 in my hand, I would have given me like 25k. I'm not soft or sensitive by any means, but where's anyone's compassion these days?

To the guy who said "I get what I deserve:" I have been crushing 1/2nlhe at mohegan since I was 19. This was my fourth time playing at foxwoods and each time I have left with over 1k. Yet I have never been carded at either casino, even though I've probably been to Mohegan over 300 times. Casinos are class 3 gaming because liquor is served... the only reason under 21 isn't allowed. I could win a big jackpot playing Bingo, but not poker, just because of that. Are you really that heartless to say I got what I deserved? I am banned from Foxwoods for life... almost more devastating than not having 110k in my pocket because obviously I am more than just a "recreational" player and was really looking forward to be playing on a regular basis next month.

I wouldn't put too much stock in "banned for life". Once you turn 21, write a letter asking for reinstatement. Actually you might want to wait a few months and let things cool down, since you said 21 is just next month right? You'll get back in eventually.
