Victor Ramdin came down to the poker room about 10pm, looking pretty haggard. He was trying to get in any game he could. 5/10NL, 10/20NL, 2/5NL, and finally sat down at 20/40 limit for a little while. Maybe trying to get some of that craps money back.

The games were surprisingly not that good tonight. 2/5NL was a nitfest, and the 5/10 was okay, but a few tables broke between 1 and 2am.

Anybody know who that guy is that plays 5/10NL that always has a mountain of chips? He gets there pretty early in the day, sits with his headphones on, barely speaks, and plays super tight. He puts in some super long sessions and always seems to stack his way up big. Good player, plenty of patience. I have a story about a weird hand he played that stumped a lot of people.

My son is a Vegan and goes to the Stadium Grill.... They will make dishes to accomodate his eating style... my guess is that most of the places would do that but he likes the Stadium Grill

played 1-2 wed, thurs, and fri. the games were tight but not hard, actually they weren't great last night, but w/e.

on a different subject, is it like a unwritten rule at 1-2 that a new player to the table gets bluffed in the first 15 hands or so... i swear some reg always bluffs me out of a pot and shows it if i get involved in a hand early in my session.

Friday and Saturday were some of the best 20/40 LHE games I have ever played in. All day both days and Friday night too. I had to leave at 9:30pm Saturday or get divorced. Tough choice.

Any advice/tips/experiences about Foxwoods' MTTs? Both the daily and not-so-daily kind.

Anything (e.g., field size, softness, blind structure) would be great. I can't decide whether to play in small stakes NLHE ring games or try a tourney when I'm there.

Nice Reed!

I had the worse luck I think I ever had in eight hours of play. Totally card dead for hours. Guy sitting next to me had the same problem. Then three times when I had a straight they were all babies and someone caught just what they needed. Though there was one guy at my table who was just inhaling luck so maybe that's why there wasn't enough for the rest of us.

Wasn't playing my top game either though. I've found if I don't go at least every couple of weeks the poker muscle in brain goes to mush. lol

Saturday night, did anyone see the guy with playing 2/5 with 1500$ green and like 2k red? That kind of chip architecture is usually reserved for 20/40 lhe

I saw him on my way to the cage. When i frst started playing around noon Gavin Smith was in the game with a mountain of chips and a pile of cash and he and another local pro were blowing out that game. Heard a story about a $250 preflop raise called by 64s which led to a sick pot on a Q64xx board with the raiser holding KK. I guess you could say the game was playing a tiny bit larger than most 2/5s. Also heard there was a blind $200 per player hand that netted someone in the game an easy $1800

Thanx Man, one of those "perfect storm" sessions for me...Playing well, action filled table, getting the cards and catching top monster over 2nd best monster.

Anybody playing in the chess tourney?

The games will probably be slightly tougher with the chess players in town.

I know most ppl hate the merge network but if any1 wants at least $100 pm me so we can set something up. I am obviously in need of the cash and dont have any other way to get the $$ I need at this moment. Thanks

Yep, heading out in a few hrs. Will definitely be hitting up the 2/5 and maybe the 5/10 if I run well during the week.

Hey guys, I am a regular at Foxwoods but never was aware of this thread. For those of you that are regulars you probably know me already. I was a 2-5 regular for a long time and recently have moved up to 5-10 nl. I usually come to the casino with my girlfriend who is now addicted to poker. My name is Jose, I have very short hair and I am extremely good looking. =) Come over and say hi. Please don't come over to tell me a bad beat story, I hear too many of them as it is. I love to talk strategy though.

Hey Guys

I've read 2p2 for about 2 years, figured it was time to register.

I'm planning to go down to FW either tonight around 10p or tomorrow in the early afternoon (or both) and I want to start a 2/4 Horse list. I went to the Sun last night and had the same list up for about 5 hours and got only one other person on it, which was upsetting since there were about 8 2/4 HE tables running.

When I start the list is it poor etiquette to ask the desk to announce it? Should I wait like an hour before asking? Ect.

Also, as a side note, much thanks to the Floor for all your effort in trying to get the game to go off; and moving my friend from the 3/6 table to my table; and for not letting the angry guy at my table hit me; AND for being an incredibly nice guy.

Yeah, thanks to Paulie for his calm and neutral approach to the situation. Thatll keep me coming back every time.

And yeah.. 2/4 horse anyone?

Can anyone tell me what the rake is on the 1/2 table at foxwoods? Is it a percentage or timed rake?
